I don't think that's the case with US players. Hell, I play for a living, and I don't play online anymore. Still, the point stands for the most part - Stars has plenty of play money players that won't make a deposit for a variety of different reasons.

This is all moot, anyway. In my opinion, we'd be lucky to have a federal bill pass this decade. The process for passing a federal bill is lengthy with a bunch of obstacles, which is why the UIGEA had to be placed onto a piece of legislation that was a lock to pass (port security bill), as it failed on its own previously. It's going to go by way of states, so no Zynga.

If they enter real-money play, odds are it won't be for the U.S. market given that we're still quite far from legalizing it.

But hypothetically, a real money platform marketing through facebook would provide a massive influx of capital to the market. Doing a very rough estimation, if ~5% of the daily 10million zynga poker players are currently buying chips each day, that's 500,000 players spending cash daily for play money gambling. If ~10% of these daily paying customers choose to deposit real money - lowballing an amount...say $5, the smallest amount you can spend for play chips on zynga, to be conservative - that's still $250,000 entering the market DAILY. And that's a very conservative rough estimate mind you, and even if the real capital influx happens to be lower, it would not be lower by much - not by magnitudes anyway - the real outcome would almost certainly be *at least* a daily six-figure number in deposits. Only in the short term (at least a few months), but still resulting in many many millions of yummy fish money to trickle into the hands of regs.

Hello everyone, I started playing zynga and it seems that i cant get into the mtt's area, im on level 10 and I'm thinking I need to get to a certain level to play mtt's. Also do i have to be a vip member to play mtt's?, it looks like i have to pay $5 to become one. I can access sit and go's but not mtt's.
