I misread the tone of your post. It does solve a mystery, though. Why does GO play 600K+ hands on Stars in the past year, yet most of his threads here are bizarre conspiracies about Stars. I've always wondered why he just doesn't play at FTP. Now we know he can't due to some money laundering/chip dumping scheme. I would love to know more.

Since I installed poker stars software on this partition I've noticed that nearly every time I run pokerstars especially if I have restarted or booted my machine that all my notes disappear.

I tryed uninstalling the poker stars software and deleting the directory but after reinstalling it I found that it keeps happening.

Does anyone else have this problem or had it and now they have got it sorted because it's really annoying

Absolutely no response (other than the automated confo) to three emails dealing with an important (to me) question. Emails sent Monday and then an inquiry Wednesday about the earlier emails.

i downloaded the betfair client through raketherake.com. installed it and ran it and get this error:

There seems to be a problem downloading the new version
If the problem persists please contact support
Alternativley, you can uninstall the client and download the latest intaller from the Betfair website
(filedetails.xml: Download failed)

i uninstalled and downloaded/ran it from their website and it came up with the same error.

anyone else having this problem?

I use HEM Omaha and play on FT. I didn't play at all after june or july of this year on FT. HEM would import HH if I was sitting out, now it only records HH for hands I was delt in.

I know it's to stop data mining but I wanted to know if it's Full Tilt or HEM that changed their software?

I have looked all over for the answer to my question but haven't had much luck. It is my understanding that you receive a certain number of points for cashing. Has anyone seen the structure for how many points you get for each place?

Furthermore, and my bigger question, does the size of the buy-in affect how many points you receive? For example, I plan on playing in Group B. This group includes $5 and $10 tournaments. Since I'm going to play a lot of them, I'd rather play 5's to keep the variance under control. However, if the 10's are worth more points, I'm definitely at a disadvantage against people who are playing the 10's.

If someone can clear this up for me, I would really appreciate it.

10s are worth more than 5s. Places 1-4 get points. Can't remember the exact equation for points but obv weighted more for 1st.

I was searching around, and didn't find a lot, but I saw that if you emailed Pokerstars about wanting to play private Heads Up that they'd enable something.

I emailed them, and got something back about how they value my suggestions and that they've recently added the Accept/Decline rematch function.

So, does this exist? Or did they just send me a generic email back?
If they do have this function, why wouldn't it be available from the beginning?

i don't fully understand. are you asking for a HU table that can't be seen by others?

why would you need to create a HU game? can't you guys just coordinate sitting at same table and using rematch feature? or do you want to play with the buy-in etc?

I finished playing on Stars about 20 minutes ago and had it minimised. When I went to maximise the lobby just a few minutes ago, the lobby just disappeared on me.

When I double click on the Stars icon on my desktop, the lobby appears for a moment showing me still logged in before it disappears again. Its still showing as running in Task Manager but it isnt visible on my desktop anywhere

This is the first time its happened so, ummmm, wtf is happening here?
