I'd like to talk about my experience with poker, directly on betfair.
I have played on many underground sites and this kind a stuff never happened to me like 2 weeks ago.
I can't believe there can be such a large corporation that can take people's money so easily.
Here are all my emails with the barfair.(didnt even ask them for rakeback wich was around 100€).

What I don't understand from poker sites is... Why the hell don't they tell what you did wrong?! Now they look like a criminal organization that just close accounts when people are winning money.

Did you play twisters mostly my friend?

These iPoker skins are incredibly shady despite the fact they are backed by some of the biggest players in the gambling industry. They pretty much do what they want with no transparency and little to no regulatory accountability.

Not all Ipoker skins are shady... Coral (The biggest skin) always pays within 12 hours.
I trust them with my money. ;D

That's pretty grimy to do. They are publicly traded and report to the LSE and UK SEC. You can get to the bottom of it, albeit with a lot of effort and pissing off a bunch of people.

Can you pls be more specific about it and give me some guidelines?

I've withdrawn from both betfair & bet365 without any issues.

Yea, I had no problems before this situation... from nowhere they just send me that my acc is closed.


I was playing NL100 and NL200 like 1-2 months there and I live in Croatia, as you can see in email they didnt give me any explanation for whole situation... the only thing they say its accordant with terms and conditions.
I just dont see any reason why they would this, my poker friends who same live in Croatia still play there and they are not having any problems at all...(they made nice profit in last few years there, dont get it why would they block me like this when I didnt even make any money, as I told i lost few k€)

I don't know but that doesn't mean betfair ain't safe. I have used it without any issues 10+ years and I know several people without any issues for even longer. Most likely you were abusing bonuses etc because they returned your deposit.

I didnt get any bonus because I register over my affiliate where I get that best vip status rakeback so that wasnt a issue. Im playing like 4 years poker professionally( last period on pokermaster where I didnt have any problem with cashouts and anything over the same affiliate) and thats so disturbig that this can happen in 2019. I dont expect to get my money back because I dont think I can do anything to them when the amount is that small, I just want to warn you what are they capeable to do.

Some general points here:
-You should keep records of all your communication with the operator.

-You should proof read what you write to them (and post on this forum) before sending/posting it. Make sure that a stranger can understand what you are saying. Imagine that you're writing to someone who is smarter than you, but who knows nothing about the issue at hand.

-Many legitimate gaming operators have licenses from Governments where they "operate". In the case of many online operators, the jurisdiction that they "operate" in are where their servers are located. If you continue to be unhappy, you can approach the regulator with your concerns. You can obtain the contact details either by searching on the internet, or by asking the gaming site to give them to you.

-I do not know who the regulator is for Betfair in Croatia. It might be Gibraltar (legit) or Malta (super shady). Good luck finding that out, it is a useful next point of contact for you.

-Talk of contacting the London Stock Exchange is nonsense, anyone who wrote that above is an idiot who doesn't know what they're talking about

-If the regulator is not an option, or does not satisfactorily resolve your concern, you may be able to consider taking legal action. Please consult a professional legal adviser for further assistance with this.

-You'll get more sympathy from the forum if you post - clearly - a copy of all correspondence with the site.

My account has been closed for about a year and a half now with little to no attempts to work this out from their side or provide a path forward to have this KYC issue settled in a realistic fashion.

Don't think betfair is what it used to be and wondering if there are many others having the same experience here lately?

What kind of KYC issue takes a year and a half? Bar some issue surrounding a death of an account holder and trying to get an executor to receive a cashout

What happened is betfair asks for career winnings proof from other pokersites. Then wants them in different format (pdf) which I have to request again, then want more specific information sent by other sites (like deposits/withdrawal filtered).

Its a miracle these other sites help me out with these requests but as you might imagine all these steps take weeks at a time.

(And to be fair when they give me a technical request like download and send email in a certain format I took a week or two to figure it out as well).

But the biggest issue is my case gets passed to a different support person who requests different files to take me back to square one or can't read a previously approved file all of the sudden.

Presumably you have reached out to them on Twitter, in DMs? Social media teams are normally a step or 2 above front-line support and for a lot of companies will be a more effective way of communicating?
