we think there is a decent chance, these are some sort of house bots or they are at least tolerated.

except for 2 of them, they all showed up when the liquidity of the 200pools went down considerably during summer.
they look like fish, yet they are winning.
they are colluding regularly. And that is something, every pokersite has automatic flagging systems for. and should lead to bans really quickly. yet they are still playing.

Please contact wpn and notify them about your concern:

Hello,

I am writing to express my alarm and concern that there are computer programs playing poker on your website, as discussed at the 2+2 forums and other internet poker communities. These programs are violating the terms of service of your website, and are cheating. Having a safe and fair game is of the utmost importance to me, and I urge you to take serious and immediate action against any and all accounts that violate the fairness and integrity of your games.

As I said, I don't have any databases for blitz, and I am very happy that there are players that have these databases who search for and post lists of bots from this discipline.

In the horse84's list, I found three acounts that are already in my list: rmnpwr, LEBOVSKY, MALUTASKURATOV, as they also played regular tables. In addition, the bots in my list have exactly the same stats as the bots on the horse84's list.

This certainly means that all these bots belong to the same bot breeder - Botfarm, which I wrote about in the topic

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/2...tfarm-1748840/

Thus, the botnet on the WPN is much larger than expected, considering that there are only the Blitz200 limit bots in the horse84's list. We can only guess how many bots there are on the other Blitz's limits.

Imagine how many bot accs are currently hosted in WPN! But besides the hold'em, they also play Omaha and tournaments.

I think it should already be obvious to everyone that WPN's security, or maybe even WPN's CEO, Phil Nagy himself, are in cahoots with Botfarm.

I absolutely agree with the horse84's suggestion to contact WPN. I just want to add that you should also write on these Twitters accounts too:

https://twitter.com/WPN_CEO
https://twitter.com/ACR_POKER

If there will be no reaction from WPN, it would allow to make an univocal conclusion that WPN's CEO Phil Nagy is in cahoots with BotFarm.

As always, weekly monitoring of bots in the WPN network.
This week, four new accounts were discovered:

ProtocolFantom
dissapp
Kiss4
Emissary03

Also, to my surprise, there was an account that hasn't played
for the last three months:

FlappyBird

Apparently, the bot breeders are so calm on the WPN that they use accounts
again, after a while.

Another bot that I missed was sent to me by a player in the PM:

0NLYBLUFF

Three of these six bots (FlappyBird, Kiss4 and ProtocolFantom) have the usual stats. There are dozens of identical bots on the WPN, and bot breeders don't change the settings, because no one blocks them.

The other three bots have slightly different stats. But bot accounts with
similar stats have already been found in other networks, on Chico and 888,
where network's security successfully blocked them.

I added all the accounts I found to my Goolge-spreadsheet

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Other bots that continue playing are in these Goolge-spreadsheets

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

Bots Snarker, selfassurance, grafist, Whydah142 have returned to the game.
Thus, there is no hope left for the honesty of WPN security.

51 of 61 accounts I found for now are still playing (three more have gone to blitz and are on the horse84 list):

NL400+

In addition, 19 of the same bots are playing on Blitz200 (from the horse84 list)

Blitz200

lizosoma

ferrom00n
gauvis

Regardless of horse84, one guy found exactly the same bots on Blitz200 and posted them in my thread on the Russian gipsyteam forum.

https://forum.gipsyteam.ru/index.php...post&p=6690419

This shows how easily these bots can be detected. Only a corrupt game-integrity, or a game-integrity that entirely consists of imbeciles (I don't believe it), can ignore them.

This has been going on for how many years? I think the most likely explanation by far is that the site owners/management are in on it.

Do any of these bots ever make it on the beast leaderboard each week? I use to try to do it, but that was my main concern. You'd have these 2 guys from Russia play .25/.50 cent blitz and they'd always get the max payout. Definitely possible, but takes like 60 hours. Polarizing, and Polorize lol. Not really a big difference in names. I figured it was one person collecting double the max Beast payout.

yeah they occupy top beast places every week.

Two new bot accounts: nikityrik and tventikaranti

Genuine question, not trying to troll.

What is WPN's response to this? Do they say it's "being taken care of" and leave it at that? Do they just not respond at all? Is it just not that big of a deal anymore and we should assume it's happening/okay?

I really don't get it.

I mean, obviously they don’t care. These guys have literally done all the work for them, have all the proof/stats, and named every single one. In any other site or industry this is a slam dunk, they just don’t care. We have no other options in the US, so why should they ban a ton of their income? If it ever gets legalized here this would obviously backfire on them and we’d all snap leave. But, that prob isn’t happening so we have to live with it.

What should we do if one of these players sits down at our table?

Was just playing some 25 NL and WHYDAH came through so I left.

The Beast Leaderboard is what annoys me about the bots the most. I have tried and failed after spending 40+ hours in a week to get to the top payout.
New point or question though... if we know they are bots... and how they are SUPPOSE to operate... couldn't we exploit that to the maximum? If we know they have a set of rules they have to follow... say if someone opens and they "the bot" who has X hand is suppose to reraise 2.5x the amount... What if you start open raising your monster hands to like 20-30 bigs preflop... would they still raise with the same hands they would raise a 2-3 big raise with? I am sure there are ways we could exploit and break some of these accounts in a couple hours lol. I don't know as much about bots, and how they operate so I put the question to y'all.

yes you could play a max ev strategy vs them, but you wouldnt have a huge winrate doing it imo

you guys have to stop thinking: "oh it is a computer program, i can find its bug and print"

these things have been around for 10 years and they are pretty damn sophisticated and balanced, they also have good population exploits... you wont make them fold with min3bets or klick raises

I don't have data on the blitz, so I can't tell if the bots in this discipline disappeared or not. In general, the situation with bots on WPN hasn’t changed a lot. According to my data, the old accounts are playing and there are, as always, several new ones.
A guy who plays blitz like you wrote on the GT forum that he had discovered more bot accounts:

tventinkaranti
volgatroy
bibaUboba
trilobit
815162342lost

What would you say about the current situation - do you see bots at your tables?

Yes. Yesterday there was at least one bot account at the 25 NL level all day. I remember seeing Springheel Jack in the afternoon and then when I played at night it was CookieDope.

I've e-mail ACR support and they replied so I copied the list for them and linked them to this thread.

Thank you for putting this all together. It's been really good to check tables before I play and when new players join the table.

I also always post in the table chat when there's a bot just to let the other players know. Sometimes people reply and I direct them to this thread.

I can confirm these accounts, plus a new one: nevzorov.

However, I havent seen some OGs in a loooong time and in general I think the average number of bots in the pool dropped.

However, I've also reduced my volume.

playing with QueenOfCrime and NoNeedToKnowMe right now. Need is playing 39/25 at my table with all USA players.....there has to be another colluder at table to share cards with right?

I have my suspicions which USA player it could be, but I don't want to out a name esp if it's just a normal reg.....

Just want to say this is amazing work, everyone.

Been playing on ACR all year blitz and regular 10-400, and pretty much every single name that I recognize makes some degree of sense. A LOT of the ones that stand out are players that joined the pool very suddenly and put in massive volume (which wouldn't have been weird when pandemic started, but is a little weirder at this point) to the extent that they are up in the 250+ range on the Beast leaderboard -- it is very hard to join the 200 blitz pool 3-4 tabling and not go broke in the pursuit of that leaderboard spot.

The usual pattern is that I see a fishy play (ex: cold-call 3bet, flat in HJ), mark them with a fishy tag, then catch them running surprising bluffs in big pots that didn't mesh with the player type. Then I start seeing them every day and I start to question whether they are an aggro rec playing by feel or some sort of bot that's playing above my head. Guess I kind of have an answer now....

All this makes me feel better about my prospects when we eventually get back to live poker...

this thread should be bumped everyday imo, still havent seen one refund. in 8 months ive gotten 50 bucks back total from Lord Azriel, ive played about 800k hands in that time (and recognize a ton of those names that we even KNOW about). At this point I just look at ACR as trying for when I get back to live, but still would be nice to get some fkn money back!
