WTF? How does someone go about getting 60k of fraudulent funds onto a site? This appears to be more of an indictment against Cake's security rather than OP's integrity.
I assumed the account was hacked. Otherwise they have massive problems.
No reply from cake management as of yet no surprise there .
If the other two players who won money off this guy read this at all (teteatot and bignjapan) would be much appreciated if you could post what has happened in your cases that would be great.
Even some of the players at lower stakes that this happened to .
Thanks.
Yeah this guy lost a bunch of buyins to me at 200nl and that's what got my account locked, now I feel stupid for not looking to see if he was playing 50/100. Cake gave me the money back after about 90 minutes. Tony Guoga have you contacted your affiliate about this? I went through mine and they got me in contact with the head of Cake security (lol) who said this: "The funds in your account were temporarily restricted but have now been returned. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the over zealous actions of one of our junior security staff in thinking that there was a chip dumping issue with your account. I'll be addressing this matter with the individual."
I hope you get your money back, if nothing else, to keep you away from the 1/2.

Great post thanks .
Dont worry wont be back at 1/2 anytime soon :P
Is Cake saying that this player was playing under another skin(Not the cake skin, e.g. juicy stakes? That the player who lost the funds had acquired the funds illegally? Did a partner skin email cake saying the funds were illegal and thus confiscated the funds? If this is true than cake has some major issues and needs to be looked at.

Waiting on a reply to see what they say, should be soon.
This is sick if everything OP says is true. If this issue doesn't get resolved in a timely manner, I will never play on Cake or any other skin on the network.
There are many appropriate ways for a site to deal with a hypothetical chip dumping situation. Confiscating the money is NOT one of them, and I'm astounded by those of you that think otherwise.
who I happened to play at 200nl yesterday....... seems like the same thing that happend with maxsteak as others say they played him at low limits earlier this week. Something really weird is going on here.

Yea that guy came and played me on 25/50 for a like 5 hands he won about 3bbs and left to play a guy at 10/20 hu.
Most likeley a Skin Customer support rep deposited money accidently or purposely in a players account. Some skins offer WU, therefore; CS is able to access accounts manually.
Cake's E-Mail: We are sure you recognized and understood that the manner in which these accounts were playing against you was not rational poker shows incompetence, ignorance, and loss of reality.
Late night in B&M Casinos almost every drunken donkey plays irrational.
In Cake's weird logic: Casinos should seize the winnings from players won vs drunks, because play was not rational.
