Dear Cake Poker,

One of the partner sites on the Cake Network had a security issue which involved some accounts bringing fraudulently acquired funds to the tables and losing them. My future account is potentially one of the accounts which may win future funds from another of those fraudulent accounts.

I'm sure you recognize and understand that the manner in which you withold player funds legitimately won on your site is a not rational business practice.

I apologize for this unfortunate issue but I cannot allow my legitimate funds to be retained by your site since you allow illegitimate funds to begin with. These funds have been removed from consideration for deposit on your site.

I hope we actually get to hear what happens at the end of this. I'm guessing that if Limitboss were to lose then we'd probably hear about it after the fact. Def rooting for him, this whole thing is completely ridiculous.

Bump to the top. When i saw this was no longer a sticky I though it may have actually been resolved, guess not.

The fact that cake will not/can not take a 60k hit for something that is clearly their fault tells me something about their financial situation. Or they are just really greedy. Either way will never play at Cake.

Agree that cake is a scam, sad thing I installed it and played once but I glad I never put any money on it, starting think carbon is shady too

Pretty ridiculous that its been 8 weeks since LimitBoss first posted on here and Cake Poker has had nothing public to say, like its some big secret.

Disgusting that they follow the thread but have no respect for us as a community to make a statement.

We should all email/flood them with inquiries. Saying we want an explanation AND a resolution immediatly.

Unfortunately, Cake wrote off the 2+2 community quite a while ago. I don't expect any resolution to come as a result of PR motives at this point, nor do I expect them to return to this forum at all. The only pressure on them is legal in nature, and we are unlikely to find out the details of that matter.

That may well be but keeping it on the front page is still the way to go.

I do hope that eventually LimitBOSS can at least come in the thread and say "resolved to my satisfaction" or not . . .

Obviously I'm kind of expecting that unless the deal is a complete wash, he'll probably have to sign some sort of NDA, but hopefully he'll be able to at least say something to the effect of "We sorted it out, I can't discuss any specifics it but I'm satisfied with the results."

Why, instead of taking the money, didn't they just keep his withdrawal in processing for a long long time. They could have fed him the same bull**** story afterwards and postpone an internet outrage for a long long time.

Sad thing is Even if limitboss comes to the thread and says they worked it out and they fixed the problem and he cant discuss anything that means zero. Cake could say"heres 15k go post that we made full good, or you get zero" I mean theres no way we'll get the truth, just stay away from the site and tell them how much of a fail they are everyday like i do, lol 2-4k ppl on at peak hours is PATHETIC,especially after black friday, just lol. they are pathetic

It's sad that people in this forum are already talking about playing on Cake again and new people are asking whether they should deposit on Cake so... bump to remind people that Cake stole $60,000 from one of their players and doesn't even have the respect for any of their other players to make a public statement about it. (Now, they probably have their own lawyers telling them to keep quiet but taking a page out of FTP's PR book is not a good thing imo)
