Maybe not. If I ran a sportsbook and OP was my customer, I would be on the phone with Cake about this. Why should I lose a good customer and maybe take a serious hit to my reputation just because my poker supplier screwed up?
There is a serious conflict of interest here between Cake the network and Cake the poker room. The poker room side of Cake is basically laying down and letting the network get away with murder.
I'm sorry about what happened to OP but in a way this debacle is a good thing. If Letterman did a Top Ten of "Reasons to Avoid Cake Poker" this little scandal wouldn't even make the list. But apparently this incident has driven home a message that a lot of people have been steadfastly ignoring for years now. The foolishness and incompetence of Cake management are rivaled only by their arrogance. It is a wonder they are still in business and that miracle is unlikely to last much longer.
Get out while you can.
