Can you unregister from a Full Tilt Poker tournament which you got an entry to by winning in a satelite?

If you do unregister, do you get tournament dollars or real $$$?

Just wondering because I don't wanna play the tourney I'd get the entry to...I would just unregister.

tournment dollars, you can use them to enter other tournies, or turn them into cash for a 5% commision charge

If you do unregister from a tourney the money is credited to T$ and from there you can convert the tournie dollars to real money and they also charge a % if you do convert it.

I just qualified for two consecutive seats for the double deuce 20+2$ tournament through an FPP satellite and when i unregistered i got 4,4k FTP instead of T$ or $.

This pretty much sucks balls.... Anybody know why, is this new or has it always been like this??

Just started playing at FTP again so don't know what rules apply etc. but the only reason I tried to qualify was to get T$.

Also 4,4k for 22 dollars seems like a pretty bad price or am I wrong?

You get your buy-in back when you unregister. If you satellite in using FTP Points you get points back.
If you want T$'s you have to buy into the satellite using real cash, then you'll satellite in with T$'s

That tournament is the only one that you can buy in for with FTPs, so you just got unlucky with your tournament selection. The rest of the tournaments are as stated in this topic.

So the satellite into the double deuce, if you win, you get back FTP Points if you unregister.

But all other satellites, like FTOPS Super Satellite and Sunday Brawl Super Satellite, if you win those by entering with 1200 FTP points, when you unregister, you get $T ? Is this correct?

If you satellite into a tourney from a cash buy in, you get T$ if you unregister. If you satellite into a tourney with a points buy in, AND that tourney can't be bought into with points, you get T$ if you unregister. If you satellite into a tourney with a points buy in, AND that tourney CAN be bought into with points, you get points if you unregister.
