*******s charged me 20 bucks for withdrawing with moneybookers yesterday.
Says in their FAQ's that they only take less than a dollar at worst.

I just started working at a bank, and there is zero reason they should be putting 8 WEEK holds on your check. That's ridiculous.

Either option is way better than a cake check imo
Which sportbook do you use?

ive barely played on cake in the last month or so because of all the cashout problems etc., (i found some poor sucker to buy most of my cake money for straight cash homie at 95% face value). it took me over a month just to get a $1500 check i requested in june (thank god it didnt bounce), and they charge u $35 for shi.ttiest service in the business lol.

so anyways, are they paying ppl these days or what? still problems with checks?

also, is quicktender reliable, or is it fly-by night, typical shady post UIGEA e-wallet?

hard to get motivated to grind when u cant be sure u will get paid. any advice is appreciated, thx

I've cashed out $1500 and $1800 within the past two weeks with no problems. I used Quicktender fwiw and it took about 4-5 days from the time I requested the cashout until it hit my bank account.

I got a UMW invitation back when epassporte went down, but never signed up.

So UMW is $30 + whatever my bank charges me? I guess that's worth it if it gets me 10k a few weeks faster.

Just a heads up for anyone expecting a check. I got one today from the same processor but this one came DHL instead of regular mail. They just left it on my doorstep, so keep your eyes peeled.

Requested: Aug 21
Approved: Aug 22
Check Date: Sept 3
Shipped: Sept 5 (DHL)
Received: Sept 9

Has this resulted in anyone having problems cashing these at their local US banking establishment?

What country did it come from? I have to find out how my bank deals with these checks and I think certain countries go through collections and others may not.

I am waiting on 7K from sportfanatik, it has been a month and a half and they are supposedly setting up an international atm card for me right now. In the past I have gotten pretty speedy withdrawals, but now it is taking forever. They keep telling me to be patient when I talk to them, is there anything else I can do, I am really getting worried I may not ever see money.

I've been using QT and getting money from Cake to my bank account in 5-6 days.

What is QT? They just said they would send me an invitation for mywallet, is this a good withdrawal method?

QT=quicktender. It is the same thing as usemywallet. They charge a $30 flat fee for any transaction (your bank may charge a bit too). I use it with no problem and it seems to be the best option if you can get it.

Hello,

Im new to this forum..but would like to share my recent expirenece with a check withdrawal from cake poker..I requested a check in the middle of Aug. Recieved my check some 20 days later..I tryed cashing it at my credit union, three days later my bank called me to tell me that my check bounced. I emailed cake about this situation only to be told to "please try another bank, as the funds will not be able to be wired back to my account"...this situation is really stressful as the withdrawal amount was for 2k..I just emailed cake again demanding that they solve this problem as Im not willing to eat 2k in losses...sorry for the long read...any replies would be appreciated

I have heard the nightmares with Cake Withdrawals so I thought I would add to it. I withdrew $$$$ about a month ago and waited patiently for the first 3 weeks. On week four, I started to contact them and was giving the run around that it would be there soon. Today, I sent them an email and they said my check was delivered...to Wisconsin...I live in Massachusetts. To sweeten the problem, someone forged my name and signed for the envelope. I also have proof of this on DHL's Website. Ship the felony. I have been back and forth with Cake and they agreed there was some mixup... No, really?? Anyway, it is just one thing after another with this site with withdraws. If you have to get a check when you withdraw... I would advise only playing on Tilt and Stars. Has anyone else run into this problem??

I would stay away from Cake, unless you want your monies sent to Wisconsin...

Yesterday, I emailed cake poker regarding my 2k check withdrawal to be wired back to my cake poker account..still no reply on cake poker's side..has anyone else ran into a problem with a bad check from cake? did they reinburse you in anyway? for those who had success withdrawaling from cake, what would the best option be?

The problems are the check processors, not the website. Use Quick Tender/Use My Wallet , it is by far the best option. It's $35 to withdraw so not great if you withdraw in $200 chunks or something but when you cash out bigger chunks or are anything higher than a micro stakes player it's really not so bad.

Can't help about bad checks, luckily haven't had that experience.

for those of you who have cashed out on sportsbook using usm or qt, can u elaborate on the process. I got the invite for qt from cake, signed up, sent cake the info they wanted to keep on file. my question is when u go to withdraw on cake there is no link to use qt, it says contact support. The only 2 options for cash out listed is check (max 2500) or debit card (max 10,000). Contacted cake, they said use the debit card option to request the withdrawal then call them back in 24 hours to request they change the method of withdrawal to qt. Anyone out there who has used qt with cake, is this how it works.
