Do you play midstakes NLHE on Cake? If so, I'm sure we've played???

You can withdraw without ever depositing. It is standard to have to send in a cc statement or utility bill and drivers liscense for your 1st withdrawl.

So, cake poker is really slipping lately with their check cashouts and support. About a month ago I requested a fairly large cashout by check, I was told it would take 10-15 buisness days to arrive. After waiting that period, the check had still not arrived, so i emailed cake where it was and if they could track it. they told me it was on the way, and that it could actually be 15-20 buisness days. I waited a few more days, and it still didnt come. Then, one morning I get an email from cake telling me that the check was somehow lost in the mail and that a new one would have to be issued to me. Later that day though, the check arrived in the mail, which was about a week ago from today. I emailed them and told them this, but i havent gotten a response to that email yet. So i went to my bank to deposit the check. The next day, i get a call from my bank and they tell me the issuing bank for the check, bank of montreal, based in british columbia, doesnt have a US Bank to clear their funds, so they cant even take the check. SO, now i have been emailing cake for the past 5 days telling them this, and all i can get back is basically an automated response that says my email is being forwarded to someone else who will get back to me. That is all i have heard from them in the past 5 days. I have asked them to simply credit back my cake account so i can withdrawl via use my wallet, but they dont respond back, they just tell me someone will get back to me soon. Has anyone else experienced this? What else can I do?

Hello, my name is Ricky Hudson. How may I help you today?

You: I heard a few players received checks today. Will my $700 request from 7-6-08 be processed soon?
You: Hello Ricky
Ricky Hudson: Hi Brian
Ricky Hudson: One moment please
You: Player ID #
You: Check ID #
Ricky Hudson: Unfortunately your funds are part of a widespread delay we are experiencing at the moment.
Ricky Hudson: Please take a moment to read the following;
Ricky Hudson: Since the UIGEA was passed almost 2 years ago, it has had varied success in clamping down on banking transactions involved with online gaming. Unfortunately, the easiest form of transactions to trace and tackle are paper checks sent out to you, our customer. As a result of this, all of our current check processors have found it increasingly difficult to get your checks to you. This is what has caused the delay with your current withdrawal request.

We faced a similar situation last year, admittedly on a much bigger scale, which we were able to eventually resolve. It took a little time and a lot of effort, but we have never missed a payout and I assure you we never will.

So, where does this leave you and your money? Truthfully, at the moment we don't have a definite timeframe for the situation to be resolved. We promise you that we will keep channels of communication open and we will be proactive with that communication. We promise to email you with a weekly update to let you know we are taking the situation very seriously and we promise to contact you as soon as there is any development.

Our agents will be more than happy to take your chats, e-mails or calls but please be aware that you will be kept up to date and have as much information as they will.

So once again, I would like to apologize for this very unfortunate situation. You can expect an email from us within the week to fully update you regarding the situation.
You: Thank you Ricky. Does my $700 still show as processing?
You: Just checking
Ricky Hudson: It sure does, however the delay has effected it... Sincere apologies
You: Cool, talk to you next week. Take care

I recently deposited 2 checks using this Canadian processor. My bank hasn't had any problems with them yet. Should I expect them to? Or is this just an issue with US Bank?

On another note I requested a check on 7/13 and it still has not processed yet.

Still waiting on my 7/1 withdrawal. I have not recieved any confirmation STILL. Talked to support and they gave me the basic spin off:

1) Government is putting pressure on US banking institutions and we are setting up new processors at the moment.
2) We cannot give you an ETA on your money
3) We're sorry, go away please.

EDIT: this is PlayersOnly

QT seems worth it so far, money was out of Cake and in my QT account in 24 hours...now I just have to send my scanned photo ID and bank bill and money should be out quick. Sucks that checks have fallen through for the time being...

Ok, so I requested my $2500 withdrawal from Sportsbook back on June 16. I have gotten the runaround for a month. I finally have some answers and a "solution" sort of....

Cake has no processors at the moment....at least for withdrawals. Zip went under and their other processors tucked tail and left. They say they it is going to take another 3-5 weeks to get a new processor in place. As of right now there is ZERO way to withdraw your money out. Technically you can ask for a wire, but they are so backlogged with wire requests that they are telling me that it will still take 4 weeks for that to happen.

My cashout has now been credited BACK to my Sportsbook account...presumably so they can rake me to death when I life tilt the rest of my funds away.

This is basically what I've been told as well. I put in my wire request July 1st, so I hope that it eeks it's way through here somehow. The support people I talked to more or less said that there are very very few checks being processed ATM.

Quickly browsing the FTP checks thread it looks like the problem with the pressure on these processors could be due to people outing the names of them, so even if this is not true, it is probably prudent to keep quiet regarding their identity when receiving payment. I know I am guilty myself of outing the cake processor here in this thread as I really wasn't expecting this.

What's the word around the block on cake checks, anyone receiving any at the moment?

requested 2500 withdrawal to ewallet on sunday july 13th, received today, july 17. didn't want to go the cheque method as they seem to screw canadians over bad on the exchange rate, that they automatically convert for you prior to sending to you. ewallet aint that great either, but if you take out 5k at a time from ewallet, its only a 3% fee... ugh, everyone is out to screw you.

Can anyone else confirm that the entire Cake network currently has no check processor?

I ask for and was denied a Quick Tender account. Does anyone know the easiest way to get one?

its unpossible. they stick quarters into one of those fortune teller machines and it tells them whether or not to send invites. Sorry, I was denied, a lot of us were denied and there is no rhyme or reason to it.

Seriously, there should be a separate thread for the sportsbook related skins. These are skins on the Cake network that do their own in house processing.

Awful support. Awful situation. But this is not Cake. This is support from one of the skins. Cake doesn't have live support.
