8/18 3k withdrawal (US player). I'm still playing on there. Best explanation is that the games are soft. Hours are nothing like they used to be, but I figure if this ever goes through, I can request again. I don't really ahve much else to do with my time, so it's a fun way to spend a few hours a week. Far from ideal, but I still think it's going to return eventually.

Good question.

I for one stopped playing on Cake for good a week ago, on August 25th. I play on PartyPoker now.

As for the remaining 10K roll I have in there, a friend of mine strongly recommended I do not withdraw it all at once, arguing that by doing so I'd be giving them more reason to stall me and, worst case scenario, stiffing me.

At first his argument sounded a little ridiculous to me (he's a little prone to conspiracy theories), but in the end it also scared me a tad... and I ended up making a cashout request for $8,750.00 today. I figured, if there's a 4% likelihood I'll get stiffed requesting 8.75K and a 6% chance that happens if I withdraw all 10K... I prefer the less risky option possible.

I cashed out from juicy stakes a while back with no problems. Requested in early May and received check in late June. Haven't played on there since though.

What kind of window would you put on a deposit to think the check is well and truly cleared? Two weeks?

Man, this site sucks! I have had plenty of good periods playing profitably on this site. But nothing is more annoying to me than having the software act bizarre in the middle of a tourney or ring game hand and freezing me out and the like. Selling my remaining funds. Done. Piece of crap. Never mind their cashout policies.

_end of rant

Anybody get this one yet?
I'm not exactly sure how to handle it other than fire a "are you ****ing kidding me?" letter back at them...

Hello pokerbaht090,

Please be advised that we will not be able to process your current withdrawal request as the funds in question were derived from an inter-player transfer. Transfers are for the funding of friends and families accounts who would not otherwise be able to play. They are not meant as a method to re-pay debts or cashout funds for other players who wish to circumvent the cashout process. The funds must be transferred back to the account of origin in order to be cashed out. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Kind Regards,
CakePoker Cashier Department

June 30th for me, still nothing, maybe cause you had an amount that was not $3,000.....anybody else have more success requesting amounts that are not $3,000 i.e $2685 or something like that?

There is a dedicated transfer thread - the one with 100k posts - you can not post until pms are activated.

Requested withdraw of $1000.00 on 8/17. Support said 10 to 15 business days to process. I'm guessing by this thread that I shouldn't get my hopes up?

No, you should not. I'd pull up a nice comfortable chair to sit on while I wait, if I were you : )

Oh wait, I am you. I have a cashout request pending as well. And I don't even have a chair that comfortable.
