The previous pages posts revolved around the possibility of cake checks bouncing and a proper time for clearance. Stars, and other companies checks have bounced in the past. I asked to see if there was a thread to track these occurances in one easy spot. Sorry

I tried to transfer founds at a player, the support answered me this ;

They asked me previoulsy why I want to trade my $$

Thank you for your email. I have forwarded your email to our*relevant department who will be in contact. However I would ask you to bear in mind that due to the nature of the inquiries they deal with their response may not be as quick as our front line support. Thanks in advance for your patience.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance
Kind Regards

What the f. Is this ???

Looking back through this thread, there were at least three people who reported having checks bounce and then receiving new checks that were good. So, when you say you never heard, you never looked.

Here is one from 7/10.
Here is another.
Yet another.

So, saying that something is impossible and calling out that the person who mentioned the possibility is spreading nonsense might require the use of the "search this thread" feature on the forum to be safe.

I've decided to withdraw all my roll from PowerPoker. I dont feel trust to play there.
Hoping in two months I'll get my money

Trying to understand correctly, transfers can or can't be swapped between Cake skins? For example, I've considered going inactive for 90 days on Cake in order to switch to Intertops, but can I just transfer my balance over at that time or no?

I thought power was supposedly one of the skins that does 1-2 week cash outs?

No you would not be able to do that

This is not true, Power Poker takes just as long to process checks as Cake (in my experience 2-3 months per check).

If you look at the thread, everything but Moneybookers is taking close to 3 (yes,3) months...good luck, I'm at 7 weeks.

Not really. Neteller took 5,5 weeks in my last request. Seems to me that Neteller is currently the "fastest" (pause to laugh) way to get paid on Cake nowadays.

I have a 6K cashout now pending as of July 28th. I'd give away a finger if I could get paid before the end of the month.

They do for non US ... But all US transactions take as long on the whole Cake network imho.

correct - MoneyBookers and Neteller, since both are by default not available to the US since the UIGEA back in 2006

US resident - 2k check

5/18 - requested
8/08 - received 'has been processed' email
8/11 - received check by Fedex
8/16 - deposited at US bank
8/18 - check has cleared

goodbye cake until your reputation and cashouts seriously improve

So would it be wise to ,after 4 weeks of waiting, to withdraw through moneybookers.

Do i need to deposit using moneybookers to withdraw using it and how long does a moneybooker withdrawal take?>

You will have to deposit with each method in order to withdraw as far as I am aware and it can take from 2 days to 3 weeks as far as I have seen in this thread so far. As non American though, ewallets such as Neteller and MoneyBookers are the fastest way to get money off almost every poker site imho.

Did you already cash out successfully before? And is your account fully verified?

I've heard that Minted Poker offers U.S players Western Union cashouts that typically take 2-3 days while Cake cashouts are taking 2-3 months. Any theories as to why Cake poker can't offer the same withdrawal options that a much smaller, and lower traffic site like Minted Poker can?

they are busto, or close to it

or

they have some crazy scheme that makes them think they are safer from the government by going through tons of different channels that take time

i'd say the former is the most likely

No idea why, but my first 1.5k cashout took three weeks. I cashed out the rest of my roll 6 days ago and received it on Neteller yesterday already! Apparently they really want my off their site.

European player.
