I've made similar comments about UB being fishy [It is.] and the rakeback and promotions making the scandalous past/present worthwhile. In hindsight, after reading my own comments, I realized how similar to the UB shills some of my comments were. I stand by the statements I've made about UB, but I've no problem going undergoing the scrutiny of Bobo et. al.

I've never played on Cereus, BUT, just to play devil's advocate for a moment, is it possible that there would be more fish on AP/UB, because most good winning players won't play there for ethical reasons?

I mean AP/UB is pretty much just completely left out of discussions about alternative sites to Stars/FTP because everyone has such an aversion to it that it's not even considered.

Obviously I understand this aversion is for obvious reasons and it would have to be VERY fishy for me to consider playing there but still, just wondering.

Of course; that's why a number of 2+2ers play there in spite of how super-shady they are.

I question how fishy they are relative to a lot of Euro rooms, but I'm sure they must be a tempting alternative for US players with much less choice.

The games are much much lighter than on euro sites. I played 100NL/200NL on Cereus and with minimal table selecting I always had 6 FR tables with maximums 3bad/semi bad regs and the rest 6 were complete fish like 30/2, 50/10 and all kinds of mega fish, they even have regular donators there. On most light euro sites you have 2-3 big fish at FR tables which is ofcourse super fishy but on cereus you barely have to play against REGs.

Anyway I don't think I will ever play on Cereus again and will be extatic to ever get my money of there. Your investigation on the shills helped me not to trust them with anything and I'm sure in a year or two I will be looking back at Black Friday as this great thing that helped me with my poker career.
