Uggghhhhh... does anyone have a VISA that works on Carbon, Players Only, or Cake? What bank does everyone have with VISA's that are being accepted? Has anyone had success with a prepaid VISA?

For the sites that accept Western Union as a deposit option...

if you do that, how would you withdraw? Western Union for the withdrawal also? is that a withdrawal option? do you think it's a trustworthy one?

I deposited on Carbon yesterday with my VISA card with no issues.

The easiest site I made a deposit to honestly was True Poker. I sent them the basic validation information(ID, utility bill, etc...) and a scanned copy of a blank check. They also have 24/7 phone and chat support.

They also have RB that is Dealt. I would not expect Full Tilt or Stars though. Hope this helps. If you have any questions let me know.

NOTE: This was before Friday but the option is still available. Hope that helps.

Make sure everyone takes time to call politicians.

Hi, im opening this thread so we can all give a good hand to the USA players that recently had to leave from Pokerstars, Full Tilt Poker and Absolut Poker...

I know some poker rooms where they can play like Bodog or the Merge Network but I don't know the details about deposit and withdraws...so i will apreciate a hand from all who knows something about it...

Im helping a friend from the US so he can keep playing online...
Thanks to all of you

There is already a thread on this:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...0/index13.html

It should contain all the information you need, if it doesn't post in that thread whatever specific questions you may have and somebody will probably answer them.

On deposits pretty sure True Poker will take a copy of a scanned check and let you deposit that way. Merge you can try your CC, some work some don't. Merge also uses WU.

Hope that helps you.

The last site I tried (Cake Poker) had issues. When I downloaded the software and made an account, I couldn't login. The client was just black and I couldn't see anything. Has anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?

Where can I play so that I can use my VISA/Mastercard or echeck?

Thanks for your help.
I've made 3 small deposits on Lock using a prepaid Visa...i was declined once , but simply tried again and it worked.

Looks like Lock is the best of what's left... The website looked awesome when I signed up, but the software is a little disappointing compared to what I was hoping for...

Apparently, Lock Poker should be legal too,

For players looking for a new poker home, thank you for considering No Bad Beats Poker.

For a limited time we will cover all Western Union fees you incur when depositing $200 or more. And cash-outs are free!

We also have a Visa-debit option, which occasionally works. Also, the Visa option within our e-wallet UseMyWallet, may work if Visa doesn't work directly on the site.

Enjoy regular poker and our unique poker tables with NO BAD BEATS!

Yea , the software leaves alot to be desired. To html-y..if that sounds right. But they offer a good rakeback program and there is decent traffic.

Let me know how the cashouts go.

I am tired....

Very Tired....

I have been reading post for 4 + days straight about
online poker. He said she said....

Myself, like most are very confused and most probally will be
for some time to come.

My basic conclusions are:

1. NO ONE really knows the future of online Poker in the US as of
the date of this post 19 April 2011 at 7:45 PM est.

2. Depositing on another site right now like Cake, BoDog, Players Only ETC.
IMHO is risky. The sites may be ok on Tuesday but what about Wednesday?

3. There are other ways to play online Poker for fun. Free Play or even Club WPT
Where you pay like $19.95 per month and can play in small cash tornaments.

4. There is always Brick and Mortar Casinos in a lot of States. (We have 11 here
in PA) Just have to drive to them UGH ~ If you need or want to play for cash
at almost any level.

5. I play at local resturants and bars through
www.RiverChasers.com
and they have no buy in's and some pay out $200
for first prize so you can get your daily poker fix.

Just be patient and in the mean time go write some letters to the Government!

I have 4 Casinos within a 15 minute drive to my disposal , not to mention the few quality pokerooms in Miami about a half hour away. I haven't played much live poker at all , and this is probably the kick in the ass to start.

This is completely unverified information, just figured I'd mention it.

I downloaded the client from bulldog777.com because I had seen their banner on 2+2 and I was curious about what the Merge/Carbon/Lock client looked like and what traffic was like.

Well bulldog777.com has eCheck listed as a deposit method for US players on the banking info page of their website. I have no idea if this current or if it is outdated and they haven't removed it. Just a FYI if someone wants to check it out.

Edit: Nevermind. It says bulldog777.com does not even accept players from USA or France. So some Merge skins acept US players and some do not ?

I still don't understand the knocks on the Merge Software. It is not PokerStars or Tilt, but IMO VERY close and not enough of a drop off that it is any issue at all for me. Just out of curiousity, what exactly do you not like about the Software?

I have been playing their for a few months though and maybe its just something I've gotten use to. Their are some minor changes I would like to see, but overall the software is better than I expected when first signing up. Definitely the best software available of the sites that are left.

Also, one thing I will add is skins like RPM(I've heard Lock is very good too) are very receptive to suggestions on things they can improve with the Software and overall. RPM's support is better than either Full Tilt or Stars IMO.

If you would like these cards to continue to work you probably shouldn't post on the forum. In the past CC's that worked mysteriously stopped working as soon as they were posted Maybe send a PM that way you still get the info and others can continue to use them.

Yea, some do some don't. RPM has a forum on 2p2 also. Their are plenty of good skins that do accept US players

I don't think anybody is considering it so not sure who you're thanking.. and if you're advertising "no bad beats" then your site must be rigged.. bad beats are inevitable.

Try a weird amount like 235.78 and it works better with credit cards

Bad Beats are NOT inevitable when your playing No Bad Beats Poker. Our "No Bad Beats" tables utilize an innovative new feature that eliminates bad beats in poker based on win probability. We identify bad beats so they can't be contested, and then we eliminate them by giving the unlucky player his money back.

We have 102 tables running as I post this, mostly juicy regular poker tables since NBB is a new concept. Try out one of our daily "No Bad Beats" freeroll tournaments.

The overall look seems cheap and unrefined to me. I like the overall in-game playability though. I feel like a dick criticizing one of the few rooms left to play in but just being honest.

Support is unreal compare to FT and Stars. I've gotten responses to my emails within an hour on average instead of days with the big 3 (yes , i know , ALOT less traffic , but still pretty nice). And finally having rakeback (35%) is a great thing too

Each of my 3 deposits have been for even numbers , but were for small amounts ($50)

I checked it out cuz I thought the same thing. The way they do it is , for example , your AA vs 66 and then a 6 comes on the river. Thats considered a bad beat , and you split. Just a dumb gimmick designed to lure unfamiliar players with the inevitability of bad beats , IMO.
