In regards to the withdrawal process, any experience/input as to Cake's? I can vouch for Bodog getting my previous withdrawal requests to me in a very timely manner.
Cake withdraws are taking three months on average right now. If I were you Id sign up on Intertops before I would Cake. It is on the Cake network so its the same player base, but they use their own cashier and from reports are not having the same cashout delays. They also have a rep and a dedicated thread here at 2+2 which is always a plus. GL.

Wow. Three months to receive a check is clearly a huge red light. Basically, the aforementioned, sure-to-strike "deal breaker." And now, thanks to the helpful advice, Intertops is a very strong candidate. Same 33% rakeback avilable also.

I also keep playing on Bodog.eu and Intertops.com where we can find a lot of fish. These two rooms are also reputable. Bodog has a good traffic and Intertops has plenty of amateurs.
When referring to traffic in this thread, we're mostly talking cash game traffic, right??

If so, what does everyone consider the best site for MTT/SNG traffic?
I only play late night/early morning, between 2-6am. I'm on merge now, which has been decent. Usually ~4k players on during the time I play. After 2am, the tournament action dies down, two decent MTT's but sng's can take 1-2 hours to fill up.

Assuming your east coast, Merge and Bodog seem to have the best traffic IMO.

I think Merge is likely your best bet. It may not cover all you listed, but IMO, its the best option for US players. I have been playing on Black Chip and really like it. I hear some of the other skins are good as well.

If you want all that from what you've listed, you might have to move to Canada...or Thailand er' something.
09-15-2011 , 06:46 AM
Face it friend, you don't live in one of the free countries that let's it's citizens do what they want in their free time with their own money. Just quit playing, it's what your government demands of you. That would be the patriotic thing to do also. I'm not playing anymore until my government gives me permission, if ever. They must know better than us what is good for us anyways.

Sorry OP, but LOL @ that list.

On this there has been some news that Merge will get busted by the DOJ quite soon. I don't really know if it's 100% true of course. In regards to that it seems it's quite dangerous to play anywhere for the US players even when thinking about 3 month long cashouts from Cake (there has to be a reason why they take so long right?).

Since DOJ has been on a epic crusade i would rather move to Puerto Rico if i were a US citizen and play from there.

Good news sir: Poker is STILL a great all american sport and its still deregulated, untaxed, and there are still plenty of ways to spread your roll around to find the limit and or tourney structures you like. Thank goodness we aren't in the euro union of high taxes and totally insane regulations that is just around the corner. USA ROCKS.

Poker stars is already in the process of setting up a stars network by country to try and handle the unique regulations of countries expanding there oversight of online gambling. Check out the Belgium situation if you don't believe me. Don't shoot the messenger.

you guys should check out yatahay (true poker, Doyle's room). They have ~2 week payouts and the traffic is decent for cash around 500 players on a given hour and sometimes more in peak hours. They also offer 27% rb and PT3 works on it (no HEM). Their support is pretty good, but the software is a bit buggy and you have to act fast even on normal tables.

Yeah agree with your concern in the Belgian situation, have a buddy over there and he is not happy with the possible changes. But still, isn't there an EU mandate to force all the member countries to standardize the internet gambling laws? I just read about a German state getting in line with the others supposedly not far behind. I think Belgium will be an interesting situation, if it happens.

But still, we need to get legislation done here in the US, as much as I hate Gov't regulation/taxation it's the only way out now IMO

But that doesn't make your "untaxed" comment any more accurate.

OK I'm trying to figure out where to start playing again and here is what I've come up with so far. Looking for help/suggestions.

Bodog - seems to have good traffic and good cashout times... But NO rakeback??
Minted - seems to be good. How quick are the cashouts?
Cake - takes 3 months to cashout... no chance in hell I'm doing that. Supposedly Intertops is the same playerbase, but without the cashout delays?
Merge - Rumor has it they will be raided by the DOJ any day now. But, if I do decide to risk it and play there. How quick are the cashouts?

Did I miss any viable options? Thanks for all your help

Truepoker on the Yatahay Network is another option. They have been around for years and had a solid rep under old management. There is now new management but theres been no indication anything has changed for the worse. Cashouts seem fine as well. The only negative is the player base is really small, think 1/3 or so that of Minted. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them though to someone that doesnt multi table or to someone looking to add another table or two to their other site. Other than that your summary is pretty much spot on.

Oh, to your questions...

Bodog - Correct, no RB

Minted - Cashouts seem on the faster side for US sites as a whole

Cake - Correct, Intertops seems to be providing much faster cashouts

Merge - Slow cashouts but faster than Cake fwiw think in the 1 month range for a check

Bigger problem with Merge is that Americans can't open new accounts there for now.
