There is obviously a risk at all US Online Poker sites but honestly I would MUCH rather have my money on Intertops, which is a well respected sportsbook, then to have it on Cake.

Anything can happen, but if I were taking my chances on Cake, it would probably be on Intertops

Minted has a very good cashout option Westen Union you can have your money in 2 days.

Yeah, it sucks. Just make you you dont put any money online that you cant afford to lose and always keep the absolute minimum bankroll you need for the stakes you are playing. Im sure you know this but its good advice for any new players reading this thread. GL fishes.

Doesn't using the WU option cost like 35 dollars?

Depending not he skin you deposit on they will likely refund the WU deposit fee.

WU is free to Cashout and the best option available on Everleaf.

What's the next best deposit method on Bodog besides WU? For some reason, the Bodog reps told me I can't use WU bc it's a new account? My guess is just to get a prepaid Visa card...?

Also, what's the best cashout method next to WU?

5dimes is on the Yatahay Network along with True Poker and Doyles Room.

5dimes is a very good Sportsbook, but do you get RB through 5dimes? Do they charge for Cashouts? True Poker has free Cashouts so it may be best for you to create a True poker account with RB if your paying for Cashouts and not receiving RB

Checks are available to most players. You get one free per month if it is available to you.

Has anyone noticed that Bodog is like totally rigged? I'll deposit a little $, then run like god, making quads and full houses and royals and pairs and stuff. I'll eventually win a tournament or two, and then once I cash out a little scrilla it seems like I can't win again and I take bad beats and then worse beats and then even worse beats. Then I'll stop playing for awhile, and after a month or so, the same thing happens when I deposit again. And don't tell me it's just "variance" because everyone knows that tournaments are like 105% skill.

^^ just keep depositing?

What about depositing? Have seen a couple posts/have heard in the past of problems with prepaid cards not going through, although worst that can happen is that you use the prepaid card for something else, I suppose... or is just using credit or debit better?

When I deposited I used either Epassporte(RIP) or EwalletExpress(RIP). Im guessing if your credit or debit cards wont work then WU would be easiest? Hopefully others can chime in on how they deposited recently. If not Id email support. GL Pokerella.

I think a lot of it would depend on each player and what is most important to them.

For example: Bodog only allows 4 tables and not RakeBack. If 4 tables are enough for you then Bodog would be a really good option. They do offer a Deposit Bonus but no RB.

If you play more than 4 then Minted Poker allows 8 tables currently and their new software they should be releasing soon is supposed to allow for plenty more. Minted Poker also offers 40%Rb with a Deposit Bonus. If you shop around through various Affiliates you can likely get a little more value in other area's.

There are also a few other options for US players.

It's always worth mentioning that you may want to play on multiple Sites also which it appears is what pivovar is doing .

I understand that I should keep as much of my bankroll offline given the current state of things with online poker for us US folk, but I'm wondering what two sites should I throw some money onto? I've just come into a nice sum of money to start off a decent bankroll for .50/1 nl and 40-100 mtt/sng.

I've noticed from playing on bodog here and there that the cash games are much softer than their tournaments (figuring the sportsgambling users don't want to be forced to sit through an entire tournament to feel the rush of a win or something like that).

Figure Cake has a more populated tournament field and because they're a poker focused site this means a larger portion of those players are going to be pipe dreaming fish (like me :P) giving me a more fair playing field.

So the question is... does it make sense to for the most part focus one type of game on each site... and what are other sites that may have more action/fishier players when it comes to cash and tourney?

Thanks in advance!

The where to play bit is really secondary to whether it makes sense to focus one type of game at first one each and then experiment here and there... and THEN if there's any valid reasons why another site should be chosen over either of these.

It's been 4 months since that thread was created and it's now a complete mess. I'm looking for a different and clearer answer.

Thanks for trying though.

Cake also has several sportsbooks and loose action at the cash tables from Eastern Europeans (Russia and Ukraine), I mean the overall traffic is not great for multi tabling as you were used to from the Big 3 ... but its considerably okay in the current situation.

Merge has a higher traffic than Cake, but right now you can't open new accounts due to the blackout for new US sign ups, but depositing and cashing out takes quite long.

First the link was posted because he knew the mods were going to move it to this thread. If they didn't half the first page would be new threads on similar topics.

Even though this thread may not answer your question if you post in here there are plenty of us that keep an eye on this thread and try to help answer questions. BTW, I agree it is a mess but if the mods didn't merge all the new threads then we would have hundreds of similar threads and they would all be a mess

I would definitely recommend playing on multiple sites to help get more volume in, take advantage of Bonus offers/RB, and to make sure you can table select and find the softest games.

Depending on exactly what your looking for would determine what sites I would recommend.
