Where Can US Players Play? Where Can US Players Play?

07-23-2011 , 10:57 AM
Sorry if this has already been posted in this thread but what is the best site to play on for a low/medium stakes MTT player from the US. I do not have a merge account so I can't play there since they are not allowing new US players or whatever.

Can we get a pinned topic for US players? Sites we can play on/traffic/withdrawals etc? Is there a link to find any of this? I'm on Cake, easy deposit...easiest I've found so far...but I heard getting a check is a long wait and some have bounced. MTT traffic is basically non-existent, cash isn't bad.

My suggestion is to try out Everleaf(Minted Poker, RaiseandFold, etc...), Yatahay Network(True Poker, Doyles Room, etc...), or Bodog.

Everleaf(Minted Poker, RaiseandFold,etc...)- Offers fast Western Union Cashouts. I've made multiple Cashouts by Western Union since Black Friday and have received in 2-3 days every time. They offer 40% RB, Deposit Bonuses, RakeChases(through the right affiliates), and the other 'skin' promotions (Example: Minted poker offers various promotions each month). Minted Poker has a sponsored thread on 2p2 that a Minted Neil(Minted Poker rep) posts on to answer questions and resolve any issues. RaiseandFold owner also posts on 2p2 and is always available to answer questions and take suggestion as is Neil. Everleaf Network was made up of 3 separate Networks but last week they combined them to increase traffic accross all skins. The traffic is decent and improving. The software is playable and HUD's are allowed, though it has a few issues, but they will be releasing a new Poker Client in approximately 2 months.

Yatahay (True Poker, Doyles Room, etc...)-Offers fast cashouts. I've requested multiple Paper Checks since Black Friday and I've received all of them in under 2 weeks. For a paper check that is pretty quick. They offer 27% RB, First Deposit Bonus and frequently run large Rake Races Network Wide. They have large Guaranteed Tournaments(Sat. 7.5K, Sunday 15K and a 3.5K daily) on the weekends for the size of the Network that frequently have Overlay and have plenty of Satellites running to them. True Poker has a site Rep on 2p2 and a sponsored forum to help answer questions. The Traffic is low and has been up and down recently. They had gained a lot of Traffic but lost some when they released a new Poker Client and initially had some issues with it. The software still has some issues, but all US facing sites do currently, IMO. PT3 is compatible with the new Poker client.

Bodog- Offers fast Cashouts also. I've not requested on from Bodog since Black Friday but all accounts point to very fast Cashouts. They do NOT have RB available. THey have a VIP system which does not offer much value, IMO. They also limit the amount of tables that you can play at one time to 4! The software is pretty unique and it seems to get mixed reviews. I've not had issues on it personally, but have only played a very small volume on Bodog.

My final suggestion would be to play on multiple Networks to help get your volume in. This may mean playing 3 tables on Minted Poker, 3 tables on Yatahay, and 4 tables on Bodog(just an example). This will allow you to take advantage of the promotions that may be going on at different Networks, table select, and still receive fast Cashouts. I would personally avoid Cake because of their shady history that continues(see sticky at top of Internet Poker Forum where they are not paying a player that won 50-60K). They have had a lot of trouble paying even non-US players, with MoneyBookers taking multiple weeks on average.

NOTE: I left out Merge because they are currently NOT accepting new US players!

Can you multi-table on minted? If so, how many tables? Also, are VISAs accepted as a deposit method?

Hey guys

I have tried ipoker for the last couple weeks and found that almost all players on there are really nitty. So now I am trying to looking for networks with the loosiest/wildest fish.

Which networks would you recommend?

Thanks!

Umm idk Cake and Bodog have pretty bad players, but also some good players depending on games/stakes ofc. You mine as well bum hunt and table select instead of asking "whats a fishy network/site" just a thought.

Yes I mean fishy in terms of FR low stakes 100NL and lower.

I have already tried ipoker, entraction and party poker but they all seem rather nitty.

So I thought I might as well ask on here first rather download yet another poker site and find out that it's also nitty.

Raiseandfold on Everleaf network. I play there and the Itialians and Ukraines by far are the loosest wildest fish I have ever played. Highly recommend if that's what you are looking for.

Does anyone play on Microgaming or Cake network? Are they infested with loose/wild/maniac fish?

Again I'm talking about FR, NL100 and under of course.

Thanks!

Go back in time if you want to print money. You've already got your answer regarding some of the easiest networks to play on.

Is there some issue with your existing thread about how iPoker players are all TAGs, your post in the Pokersite Suggestions thread, and with existing threads about this subject, that you had to start yet another thread?

  • The first rule of Fishiest Networks is, you do not talk about Fishiest Networks.
  • The second rule of Fishiest Networks is, you DO NOT talk about Fishiest Networks.

Going to have to agree with this.

Stop asking what sites are the fishiest and start searching yourself.

You don't need to find fishy networks, you just need to find fishy players.

Bum hunt if you think you can only beat up on fish, takes a little time but scope out a table, PTR the players before you sit and go from there.
