I realize that. I just refuse to ever fold to 2.1 bbs from late position. Well, 90% of the time.

- GRAPH! (lifetime? year? EV?)
1. I'm not sure how I feel about 20bb CAP. I may enjoy it, I may not, there is no way to know until I give it a shot (I haven't played any of the 25/50 CAP yet, maybe I'll test it out soon.) I'm definitely open to the idea. I'd like to try out CAP HU tables too.
2. I never have sessions where I do not max out my table count.. and my game/winrate/etc has most definitely suffered as a result. Pushing yourself to the limit every day for VPPs has its drawbacks. I do plan on better table selection.
3. I'm not interested in PLO SS'ing as I'm trying to steer away from high variance at the moment, and PLO SS'ing sounds like a variance nightmare.
4. I have no clue this year... but last year I'm 100% positive it was Chisness.. it was so obnoxious that I began to laugh about it with him.. though I was laughing and crying at the same time.
5. I will post year.. I may have to post month by month though if I can't get the full year to show up. No way I have a lifetime graph, I've been playing full time since 2005 and have played gazillions of hands. I do track lifetime earnings though, which exceeded $2MM this year.

Early in the year I'd say 90%, middle of the year around 75%, end of the year around 50%.

I make a dozen or so daily, and at least one really obnoxious one per day.. like open folding KK in HU (happened a couple days ago) or snap calling an allin preflop with 47s. I usually audibly say something like "you dumbass" when I do it.

No, I never played on a high level for money or anything. But I was addicted to most popular games growing up and it almost could be classified as obsessive as my VPP accumulation. I'd go to school, then go to football/track practice, then play pickup basketball games until the sun went down, but after that was done.. it began. I'd come home and play video games until I would literally pass out at something ridiculous 3am (and considering I had to be up for school at 7am, that's not so good). Even if there was no one around I'd do something like race the same track on mario kart a 1000 times just trying to shave .01 of a second off the best time... w..t..f! It's no wonder I have health problems now.

Most of the year I played the maximum of 24 6max cash tables along with 6 6max sng's... so I'd say I averaged 30 tables for 10-14hrs per day. I did this for 14 hours per day every day for this past month.. which was around 25k+ hands every day.

I don't play much live. I have had some decent success in live cash games. But not much success in my small sample of major live tournament events. I've played EPT Prague, EPT Copenhagen, and PCA, all of which I made to day 2 only to bubbled on a flip (except Copenhagen.. it was a 3 way allin where I was sitting about 25% EV).

Yes, "play all the time" pretty much sums it up. You can buy 2447 Gourmet Cookie Baskets with that many points.

Something happened to me when I took the 3MM record, almost like a runner collapsing after a marathon. My mind wanted to keep going, but my body wasn't having it and I've spent the last few days sleeping about 12-16 hours a day. I was once told that a person doesn't get a stress headache until the stressful event has passed.. I think maybe I'm experiencing something similar on a much larger scale. It saddens me a bit, but at the same time it's nice to feel my body finally healing and going in the other direction after tearing it down completely over 10 months. But don't worry I'll probably clear a couple more milestones just to make PS SteveD figure out how to ship me the monies since milestones over 3MM aren't available for purchase on Stars.. yet.

I don't think it's a good idea to set monetary goals, especially in poker. You can easily set yourself up for failure as I've found many times it's out of your control. I try to make all my goals something that I have 100% control over. Such as setting VPP goals, hand goals...

I'd just want to be surrounded by my closest friends and family.. it's not where you are, but who you're with that really matters.

2. Around 3000 hours me thinks.

why have you achieved the stars VPP record playing an average of only about 55 hours/week (and not even finished with the year yet!)?

are other poker players just lazy?

any advice on not procrastinating? sometimes high goals seem to push off work more than low ones, like i know if my plan was to play 4 hours/day everyday i'd do that every single day, but when it's to play 12 hours/day then i'd rather put it off completely!

what tasks other than cooking/groceries/laundry would you require of an assistant?

how often do you check results?

how did you meet your gf?

if you want to be on a certain schedule that requires you to wake up at, say, 8am, but one night you go to sleep at 4am how do you fix this? wake up at 8am and play tired?

This is a great question and I don't mean to take away anything from what needbeer has done. But I think we're only starting to see what people can do over a year on stars. It's very much like running - when the 5-minute mile was first broken people were probably too excited and amazed to even start to think about breaking the 4-minute mile. I can imagine a time when we'll be talking about 5,000,000 or even 6,000,000 VPPs
