OP does not run a bot farm or something like that. He is just an "innocent" researcher of players' leaks and he is using hand histories obtained at data mining services. When his research reveals competitors, he reports them. Smart and effective.

While it's the direct violation of ToS of PokerStars, the Russian community believes that OP is a spiffing superhero.

As far as I can tell all the sites offering Party HHs are old sites and I don't think anywhere sells recent HHs since they went to no HH on the site.

I think since they changed regular tables where you cant see who sit at the tables till you get dealt in a hand (and you could only have session stats with player1, player2 etc..)

This topic must be taken seriously, do you even realize, how much EV you losing because of those bots? For all the MTT players playing those tournaments, you losing maybe 20% at least of your total EV, maybe even 50%, which means 1 out of 5 days or even 1 out of 2 days you are working BRO BONO.
This topic must be pinned and made vocal to 888 administration, and even other sites likes WPN/Chico/Ipoker, it's the only way to fight bots and make their lives hard, so in the end it will become very expensive and risky to operate bot farms

He is Russian, but lives in Portugal, hence the flag.
If you notice him on the table, be aware that he most likely has a huge amount of hand histories for you and everyone else on the table and act accordingly.
Or better, report him to PS, if someone should be banned, then it's this guy.

tbh I dont care that much about datamining as I care about a potential bot farm stealing money from me on daily basis. It hurts to think how much EV I've lost the past couple years to these accounts and I hope that if they find out they're indeed bots, 888 refunds all of the affected player accordingly.

Although, he has never been a winning poker regular and has made promises to quit poker for good on multiple occasions, he still hangs around all the 'hot' topics just to spew his deranged thoughts and attack accomplished players.
He has become somewhat of a laughing stock of the russian poker community, and the best way to deal with him is just to ignore.

Reading this thread was a real shock. It's ****ing hilarious how everyone in this thread is more bothered by the datamining than the bots. People buying hands barely hurts other players, if it even affects them at all. Bots take TONS OF MONEY out of the pool. They also win rakeraces and disincentivize sites from offering rakeback (which hurts every players' bottom line).

Sites don't do anything about bots. If anything, they should prefer having them over humans as they win at lower rates and generate more rake per $ withdrawn. I don't think a site has ever banned a botring before a player/player group raised awareness of it. They are also pretty bad about banning cheaters, absent being shown hand histories/evidence.

I have to think the people complaining about mined hands don't play online poker and have been cowering at the local 2/4 LHE table in fear of HUDs for the last 20 years.
