21,000 hands at 10NL this past week or so and raked for 17.5bb/100 - That's over a buy-in and a half every 1k hands, the majority of which is the flat .10c going to the BBJ every flop - Pretty much unbeatable.
Such an amateurish rake structure reflects very poorly on management's poker competence. I was going to open my first post BF account until I stumbled upon this thread while doing research. Winning Poker doesn't sound so winning , might as well play craps.
in all seriousness why would they? Maybe if they had any competition
Because, if they stopped for a moment and thought about it, they would realize they would make much more money by cleaning up the structure with higher traffic and with fish being able to hang around longer (i.e. pay more legitimate rake), instead of just raping everyone mercilessly at the tables with the silly promotions.
was looking forward to mixing in some BCP action after they left merge. played for about 2 days trying to get regular tables going but it was pretty fruitless. now I'm back putting in all my volume at Lock. until you guys get rid of the Beast/BBJ you gets none of my rake$$$$$$
