Can you post the details of the Legends acquisition?
These situations are hardly ideal. Take a look at everleaf, enet type stuff.
It ends up being "you had $500 on a site, so if you rake 1k, we will let you cashout $500."
The only person that really ends up benefiting is the acquiring site, and it ends up being more of a scheme to get you to play on their site than an actual savior of a lost bankroll.
True ChicagoRye.
In the case of Legends, WagerWeb.com took over accounts and attempted to require a 10x rollover before anyone could withdrawal funds.
Players were obviously not happy. G911 published about the 10x rollover and WagerWeb came under great pressure from the industry to reduce this to 5x, which was still not ideal but doable for most customers, especially since WagerWeb is a decent book.
But this was a case of a book caught blindsided by a US Government indictment and this bailout came within a week of Legends entire business essentially becoming dismantled.
In the case of the BetOnline acquisition of Sportsbetting.com, the later owed a ton of money and was deep in debt. BOL assumed all that debt and SBetting players were not required to rollover any of their money.
So it basically all depends on the situation.
