Just one QHD monitor, placemint to arrange the tables.

^ expensive monitor, what size? I didn't think placemint would stack and tile do to the resizing of the BJ window.

Anyone know how to modify the card backs? I cant get them to stick because the internet connection "reads" them back to normal Betonline backs automatically

Modding seems real finicky. I had very little success in general, but was able to get a small modification on the card backs. You can rename/move the update program in the client directory to stop it from overwriting. (BetOnline Updater.exe)

The solution is to stop running the betonline client updater. Run betonline.ag POKER, not the updater. The updater runs by default. Go into your file location to see what I am talking about.

I found the BetOnline Updater, if I delete it, how will I get updates?

Don't delete anything. Just double click the betonline poker app instead of the updater. Make a shortcut of it and put it on your start menu if you don't want to manually go into the folder to start the client.

If you have issues in the future, run the updater, re install your mods then go back to running the poker client.

Got how to do that now,

I have the card back mod I want in BetOnline Poker8.2>images>skins>table>modern>cards> and I named it the same as the "internet explorer "card00back" but it doesn't come up, and if I delete that one, no cards are visible. Any fixes? Thanks soooooo much (also set the new cardback to "read only")

Sorry, yes this is correct. Just run "BetOnline Poker.exe".

Try BetOnline Poker 8.2\images\skins\table\modern\cards\card00back.svg Doesn't need to be read only.

I am out of the US currently and they (the bank) have steadily increased the fees for foreign transaction, up to about 8% now. In spite of all that, I could still see this card as being beneficial to some serious players. Quick and avoids US banking system.
Thanks for your post! I think I'll give it a shot.

It appears 2-year cost for the ATM card are:

Card - $80 (fixed)
Monthly Fee - $4.95 x 24 = $119 (fixed)
Loading Fee - $25 (Can load up to $2500 at a time)

So, if we set tiers to the expected amount we will withdraw in that 2 year span, % cost of total withdrawal is below (based on $500 withdrawal at a time via ATM, $2500 card loads, & ~$5.50 ATM fees each transaction for US players):

$200K = $2,000 loading fees + $2200 ATM fees + $199 fixed fee = 2.19%
$100K = $1,000 loading fees + $1100 ATM fees + $199 fixed fee = 2.23%
$50k = $500 loading fees + $550 ATM fees + $199 fixed fees = 2.49%
$25K = $250 loading fees + $275 ATM fees + $199 fixed fees = 2.89%
$10K = $100 loading fees + $110 ATM fees + $199 fixed fees = 4.09%

Gets to be pretty steep if you don't expect to make more than 10-15K per two years from the site.

Awesome post! Card activation is $83.75 (because the bank also charges) but that includes first month fee so pretty much a wash. Load is $26.75 for same reason.

I have a ~$220 max ATM and for non-USD ATMs i am paying around 5.4% between exchange and fees, probably varies by country though.

Also the card has a very cheap look and feel to it, I would be kinda shocked if the mag strip holds up for 2 years, not sure how they will handle that if it fails.

I haven't logged on in a while so I'm not sure how new this is, but they made some changes to the tournaments. Looks like they added late registration during the rebuy period, upped the blind levels from 8 to 10 min in the standard rebuy tournaments, and maybe added some new tournaments? It doesn't look like they got rid of all the tiny buyin tourneys that no one plays though.

adding antes was a GREAT idea, but making the blinds slower was not. it will take about an hour longer just to min cash.also, late registration obviously helps the site, but also slows the whole turny down more.

Probably the same way any other business "gets away with" charging fees.

Banking fees are so totally unheard of anyways.

Does anybody know when the next reload bonus will go into effect? I would think, considering it's the holidays, that one would be coming up soon.

Thanks

You call organizations giving a false promise of wealth and riches a business?
