Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that both PT4 and HM2 worked with BetOnline.

I believe it uses the same software as Equity/full flush, in which case it's only Holdem Indicator that directly works, although apparently HEM works with a converter. See the Equity thread...

That certainly blows. Whatever. I guess it's cool if nobody can use the HUD. It just tracks so much more than a simple hand history inside software like that. It makes post session analysis infinitely better.

Another question, is betonline still as soft as it was during OP days or is it reg/professional infested?

I'm still considering this network. I had an affiliate private message me about joining and I wrote them back but they haven't responded. I'm a NY player who currently plays on WPN and Intertops. Can any other players in my position confirm that the payouts are timely and legit on this site? I'm really hesitant to deposit here as in the past I have read a lot of cautionary tales when it comes to this site.

Additionally, I understand that PT4 and HM2 are not specifically designed to work here but how is the BetOnline software's internal hand history compiler? Is it reliable? Does it show in depth statistics or just a list of your hands?

And lastly...I hear that the casino on this network (is it the Chico network?) is pretty robust and in depth. Is it known as one of the better ones around? Is this site available to *any* player in the US or only some states? Again, I'm in NY state.

Thanks

Because I was hoping to find out who was spamming you. Oftentimes they aren't the most reputable of affiliates, to say the least.

I don't really have answers to your questions, although I find the one about the "internal hand history compiler" to be a little odd. Sites generally provide hand histories, and that's what they are - hand histories, not in-depth statistics. As for better or worse casinos, I assume you of course know that they're all -EV and should generally be avoided. That would be the last thing I'd be looking for in a poker room I wanted to play at. But to each their own.

What about withdrawals? That's the main issue here, obviously. Have things been running smooth as of late?

Agreed it's the main issue, and I think what's in this thread is just about all the answer you're going to get, unless some other players there chime in.

I've been playing here the past year or so. Cashouts have been surprisingly smooth. WU withdrawals take ~3-4 days from when I order the cashout to when I have money in hand. Wire takes 1-2 weeks. I play mostly PLO, so there's prolly only 2-3 games going at once.

With that being said, the software is pretty awful. There's a BJ table next to every poker table you have open that you can't get rid of. I refuse to keep more than 5k on the site based on all the horror stories I've read.

Other than tempting you with casino games while you're focusing on poker, what is wrong with the software? Is it that bad?

It's pretty damn slow, that's my main problem with it.

Off the top of my head:

- There's a BJ table attached to any poker table you load. It makes multi-tabling a pain.

- Sometimes there will be a player in between the small blind and the button. wtf.

- You can't numerically enter how much you want to bet. Either 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, full pot or use the slider. Also, sometimes when i click the slider twice to make a 3x raise, it will go from 2x to 4x and tilt the hell out of me.

- If someone raises and a shortstack goes all-in for less than the raise amount, the initial raiser can still re-raise.

- Seen multiple players abuse the all-in disconnect and customer service just doesn't care.

- If you time out of a hand, you will have to post the big blind no matter what unless you play the next hand. So say you miss two hands, but you don't skip the big blind, you still will have to post to play your next hand.

- The poker client will randomly just stop working at times (rare though). You have to exit and then re-open betonline. Thankfully, when this does happen, I am still at the tables.

I signed up for this site Friday and received a call to deposit, I told them I would deposit later.. Is it worth the trouble or would Bovada be better? I'm in NC..

I like the 10-handed o/8 & Omaha games they offer. MTTs are the worst , slow structure, no late reg, and all R/A. The BJ table will come off after 4+ cash game tables. There tournament LB could hold great value but the point formula is difficult and haven't tried to figure it out[ Sqrt (Total registrations for the tournament) / Sqrt (Your finish position) ] * [ Log (Buy-in price + 1) * 100]. There withdraw fees suck but i've gotten paid accordingly for small amounts.

I already have an account here, just got one so I could get holdem indicator for free. This was months ago, but I havent played since. Cashed out and it was smooth. Can I get an affiliate tagged to my account? Can I get any RB here?

Well, I certainly appreciate your candid response. Poor software would indeed really be an issue with me. Not being able to numerically bet would be a huge adjustment and extremely limiting. What are they thinking over there? Wouldn't a simple hotfix resolve that?

Naturally, the client randomly becoming inoperable and the term "all in disconnect" are extremely ominous, as well. I'm not going to deposit money on a site that clearly lacks any kind of support whatsoever. These things need to be resolved immediately. How could there be ongoing issues with the software? They're collecting deposits and charging for withdrawals daily. How can they not service the product?

Anyway...thanks to you and the other people who chimed in on how they really feel. It's just disappointing to see so many issues with so many US facing sites. As a NY player, my options are pretty limited to begin with. Every time you see another venue to join and look into it only to notice that it has substantial issues, it's just hugely disappointing.

I'm a NY player as well Cash Grinder. Think I'm about ready to take the plunge. Hopefully I will run good and can update on my experience with cashing out .....and hopefully it's before the site shuts down and robs all the players of their balances (jk.....errrrr, I hope)

Pm'd you about this.

I just started playing Omaha there and find the games very easy to beat. The software is really slow, makes you repost on free hands if you timed out, which happens alot imo)

Massive first time poker bonus, but make sure you don't take the sports/casino by accident the rollover is 6x to cashout. The poker bonus is very easy to clear, 200% is great.

Cashouts - I did a 3k wire 2 Friday's ago ($50 rebate once a month), was charged 36 dollars by my bank plus just 25 dollars from BOL. Arrived in 5 days.

Can't say enough nice things about this room so far. Emails take a good day to get back though, so don't be impatient. As another person said here, grab a good affiliate.
