BOL is on the Chico Network; FFP is on the Equity Poker Network. They just have the same software.

I'm writing this in hopes to save you guys some endless struggle with BetOnlines very,very poor management. I don't even really know where to begin.

Positives: Deposits are easy
They make it very easy to get your money on. Like most sites they charge you fee's and bill your account from a different shell company every time. It never is the same name on your statement to try to prevent the DOJ from stopping the transactions. Thats also why your $100 deposit charges $102.xx (however, you will only receive about $95 of it).

Positives: Lines are similar to other sites
Most sports betting lines are pretty similar to those of other online betting sites like Sportsbook and Bovada.


Negatives: Cash outs
Most importantly, cashouts. DO NOT BELIEVE THEIR CASHOUT TIMEFRAME I'm not saying you won't get your money, but it has a definite pyramid scheme feel. Checks by mail claim between 2 weeks and 4 weeks depending on method. I have a friend who waited 9 weeks before getting his check. This is the cheapest method to cashout (Yes, you pay to get your money on, but you pay much more to get your money off). The standard minimum is $25 for a slow check. Bankwires cost up to $80 and there are many inbetween. This is some of the highest fees paid on any site, and by far the slowest delivery Bovada and Sportsbook are MUCH better alternatives to BetOnline.

Also, 2 times I have requested a cash out and BetOnlinehas GIVEN me a free play to my account, which I never use (see below). So not only did it prevent me from cashing out, but I never asked for it in the first place! They simply put it in my account and it was a week of emails saying "I did not deposit in months - I requested a cashout, and now you have applied this to my account making me do almost $900 in sportsbets to get my money off. Please remove this!" This is not a legitimate approach to a company already under much scrutiny. You usually have to put in a code or request it after a deposit. They simply put it in my account as a roadblock when requesting a cashout.

Negative: Freeplay
First off, I NEVER recommend doing the "Free Play Bonus." Freeplay bonus's are subject to a mandatory 6X bet amount. That means if you put that same $100 on, you have to bet $600 in sportsbetting before you can touch ANY of your money. Doesn't matter if you won it all in poker. You can't touch ANY of your money until you make $600 in sportsbets. If you are putting on small amounts of money, this can really screw you over for getting your money. The freeplay is much more often than not a losing bet, and house advantage, unless you sportsbet a lot.

Negative: Support
You can't even contact in game support if you don't have $250 in your account. If you email support you almost always get a foreign typing person a broken email that you usually can decipher, mostly. If you have enough conversations over time you will realize they have copy/paste responses they almost use to dodge all questions. Unless a chain goes back and forth several times it almost seems as if you aren't even talking to an actual person.

Negative: Game Selection
Most games (besides some low limit holdem games) only have 2 tables. If you play .25/.50 --- .5/1-----1/2-----or 1.50/3 they typically only have 2 of each tables running. I'm not sure if this is some way to not be considered a gambling site in the eyes of the DOJ (Department Of Justice) but it is definitely a problem. When you have 2 tables with waitlists of 4-5 people all the time any smart company (if they could) would add more tables.

Negative: Layout
There poker games have a mandatory blackjack casino game attached to the table that makes multi tabling very difficult. It is about 50% the side of the poker table making it much larger than it normally is. No smart person plays online blackjack however there is no way to remove this unless you have 4 tables or more running. Since game selection is already limited, this is a difficult problem to overcome.

I have played Online Poker a LOT pre Black Friday, and when/where possible post it. Miss Pokerstars as much as every one does. Loved Full Tilt. Dabbled in Ultimate Bet and Absolute. Even Paradise Poker back in the day. I cannot remember anywhere near the bad experiences I encounter on Sportsbook on any of these other sites.

Their support is honestly horrible. They make it incredibly easy to get money on and incredibly difficult to take it off. Responses related to depositing are answered within a day. Questions related to cashing out may take a week+ to hear back, half the time leading to you still having questions. It is a very slow process that eventually happens but you better be prepared to take your time and get very frustrated talking to people speaking poor english and always dodging around your questions.

Overall I just am adding this to the poker community to hopefully save a lot of headaches for some of you. If you choose to play on this site just know the games are limited, the support is horrible, and the cashing out is the slowest anywhere; at times taking months to get your money.

This site's been bad news from the get. Always great advertisement & promos only to lure you in for a bogus cashout system eerily similar to Lock. Anyone know if this has changed as of late?

Yes, their payouts are pretty infuriating, had to go through SBR one time to get a payout processed.

When you are used to dealing with Ireland/UK books, and having your money back within a few hours or a day or two at the most, it can be pretty worrying to have approved payouts in limbo for weeks.

One of their Customer Service reps actually told me that I needed to be patient because they use third party processors to make their payouts and that no matter what, I cannot tell my bank where the money came from, it would be fairly random for me to contact the bank to tell them where a payment came from but the fact they bothered to say that just made the whole thing seem more than shady.

They work in a difficult market but there prices are not good enough to put up with that ****.

They are the polar opposite of Pinnacle.

Lol these threads are out of hand. First, I would imagine most sites have a rollover requirement for free play bonuses. Just read the ****ing T&C.

They offer a FREE check payout per month. My checks from BOL have arrived faster than one of the regulated sites in New Jersey.

Lastly the game selection part of your post is just flat out false. Take a look at the lobby and there is 4-8 games running at any limit all the way up to 100NL, midstakes it gets a little thin.

Also as someone who plays consistently plays on the chico poker network i'm not quite sure what OP is going on about. At this moment there's about 8+ tables of stakes up to 200nl. Also if your depositing to play poker on a site then why are you accepting a casino or sportsbook bonus which at all sportsbooks will have a rollover that needs to be generated.

I don't play @betonline on chico so can't comment about cashouts but traffic is soaring which wouldn't be happening if cashouts were very slow.

I think a couple of people missed that OP had a free play added to his account without him asking for or accepting it, which then prevented him cashing out.

I'd completely believe this of BetOnline.

I haven't heard of any issues with this site in like a year. Not to say you shouldn't proceed with caution, but saying it's similar to Lock poker is ridiculous.

I will note this about my deposit to: I deposited $365, i was then charged a processing fee of $24 for using my credit card, so I had an initial balance of $341. However, having looked at my cc statement, I was charged $380, so i do not know why the hell i was charged $380, I emailed support and awaiting a response, but it seems a bit ridiculous.

I 100% deposited $365 to, as I just looked at the confirmation email.

Yes, this was an endless struggle.

Also now after literally probably 20 emails back and forth with them arguing that their online chat told me "Request your $1,000 cash out via email because our processors are down." This was a Thursday and for the cash out to be discounted once a month you must do it on a Friday.

Next day cashed out (tried to). Emailed them. Said "its 12pm, I did this with 12 hours left on the day, Please make sure to credit the cashout discount." No response until Saturday. Now they say "you must do it via cashier window. If you want the discount you will have to wait until next Friday." This starts another long chain of emails over 3 days and endless re-explaining of my scenario every time

Eventually they called me while at work. FINALLY the free play I never asked for was removed and they said "transfer $1,045 to your sportsbook account. Cash out. Even though it is a Wednesday we will refund you the $45 this time because our support gave you the wrong information." Great I said.

Did the cashout. Still no money and each time I contact support they now tell me "sorry sir you did not request it on a Friday, we cannot give you the discount." Everytime you start back at square one with these people. I swear to god they try to be so frustrating that you just give up. I don't care if it takes 100 emails, I refuse to keep letting them charge after charge and I'm yet to receive my money or any real response besides their automated crap

I dealt with a similar issue last spring with a few withdrawals on BOL. They kept giving me wrong info on a WU pickup. After explaining my story 50x in different formats I really felt like I was going insane. The 10+ hours I was dealing with support wasn't really worth the 800 bucks in the end.

I did get paid but I basically had to jump thru flaming hoops.

My other 2 withdrawals were on the smaller side but pretty fast and easy. The fees did suck tho.

im usually playing 8 to 10 sngs and have constant client crashes. this is the only site it happens to me, i mean every 7 to 10 minutes at times, its unbearable. anyone else???

Going on 3+ weeks with still no money. I get the same response from chat of "please be patient sometimes it takes longer." They also had given me the wrong information on a chat log (that I had saved) and told me I had to cashout via email, not online. Then Saturday they said that was not true. Snapping until Wednesday led to a phone call saying "put it through, we will reimburse the fee since chat told you the wrong information."

Now they are saying "sorry Sir, you didn't request it on a Friday. We will not be reimbursing this fee." Seriously, worst experience with a company in general ever. Not just poker companies. Any company. Same generic response from each person, they just change the "From" name. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE BOVADA OR SPORTSBOOK. Pokerstars also could be back in US within 6 months per highstakesdb.com article!

Are you signed up with SportsBookReview?

If not then it might be worth going through them, they ironically have BOL as an A+ book but if you raise a complaint through them they work with BOL management to get it resolved.

It can't hurt.

Same here. I also have an issue where a sng will fill and then not launch for me.

It gives you a popup when a sng fills that you can choose OK or cancel. If you click ok, most times it then loads your sng table. Sometimes it does nothing and you have to hunt through the lobby to seat yourself, or just close and reopen the client.

Or you can not click the OK button and after about 20 seconds the sng will pop up. But that also fails at about an equal rate for me.

Thank you legend I did not know about this, I appreciate it. I will give it another day or two and if still no money then I will take that route. It's just so frustrating that nonstop they are saying "no fee's reimbursed" after it got to the point of them CALLING me and telling me to proceed and that he would personally take care of it (which is when they applied a freeplay $50 I never asked for, preventing me from cashing out due to the rollover requirements, and another chain of emails before finally getting it removed).

Now at least 5x emails from them saying "sorry, wasn't done on a friday." Soooo frustrating. They obviously have no system for taking notes on what is going on with customers they are dealing with. Always have to start back at square one, I'm going insane repeating myself to these idi.....people.
