UB is now down. This nanny state gov't has no problem with horse racing, lotteries, etc. But they are too stupid to regulate and tax online poker like they do in the UK.

Snitches need to get got. That ****ing rat will get what's coming. And yes, many people would take decades in prison rather than roll on their partners. Though with this crowd, there's no honor.

Here here. I totally agree.

I haven't been able to deposit to PS in a year, so I kinda figured it was going to come to a head at some point.

You missed the part where he stole more than $100 million from the poker sites, before he was arrested in the US.

So: stole millions from the sites, then caused the internet poker apocalypse? Sounds like a villian to me!

I don't think any US players are getting there money. I cashed out twice about ten days ago and haven't recieved my checks yet (which I normally get them in 5 days). Also, I looked at my bank account, and my pokerstars checks that I deposited weeks ago and cleared, have been reversed. Bad Bad day. Sorry everyone.

This opinion will certainly be welcomed here.

California here. Tried withdrawing from FTP and during the process got a message that withdrawals may currently be taking longer than 15 days to process. Upon completion, I received the standard "PROCESSING" email. About 4 minutes later I got another email stating "DECLINED." Uh oh.

Anybody know anything about absolute poker? I've spoken with them and requested my money via check. Not sure this is the best solution, but i figured it would be better to keep the transfer under the radar even though the check will prob be worthless! At least I'll get a piece of paper for all my time and hard work. I'll put it up on my wall along with my deploma. All that hard work for a piece of f*ng paper.....FML
If anybody has any hard facts that might make me feel better I'd appreciate it! Thanks for reading.

I disagree. Government itself, U.S. or not, is a shakedown.

This blows.

I tried to cash out on PS, and got the automated e-mail, but given what I've been reading on here I'm not holding my breath. Losing almost 3K sucks; thank God I play with money I can kinda afford to lose even if I hurts some.

My pokerstars checks that I deposited into my bank weeks ago( and cleared), have been reversed. It's not likely anybody will get their money. Check your bank account if you recently deposited a pokertstars check.

how can something that has 'cleared' be reversed?

also, Pokerstars will not let me deposit stating that regulations do not allow deposits in my area. Just to see what would happen I tried to deposit via QuickDeposit at Full Tilt (which has numerous outstanding deposits from me going all the way back to Nov 2010 btw) and was told that there is a 'delay in processing my deposit and they'll notify me'--in other words, no deposit there either. Online poker for USA is no longer available. If you're still able to play enjoy because the ban is coming to your state quickly!

I live in UK and play on Stars. Should I be concerned and cash out some/most of my roll?
