The Senate Indian Affairs Committee will be
holding another hearing on Internet gaming today, and PPA Board Member Patrick "Skallagrim" Fleming will be testifying! Let's all continue to tell the committee that we want them to support our right to play.
Let's also continue telling the Payroll Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance, and Medicare Physicians Payment Fix Conference Committee to include online poker in their discussions. The committee needs to resolve this matter by the end of February, so the timing is perfect for us. These take just a couple of minutes each, so thanks for participating!
- Let's send the Conference Committee members + Sen. Reid & Sen. McConnell NEW tweets urging inclusion of federal online poker legislation: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
- Let's send the Senate Indian Affairs Committee members these NEW tweets: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
- Let's go to the Senate Indian Affairs Committee members' Facebook walls and like all the pro-poker comments -- and post some new ones: HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, and HERE.
- Sen. Boozman (R-AR) responded to us on Facebook. Let's all take a moment to thank the senator for responding to our comments: HERE
- Let's send a NEW prefilled tweet promoting the daily action plan: HERE
Please reply in this thread with "tweeted", "done", etc. to encourage others to participate. The past 149 actions have generated triple-digit participation, so let's keep it growing. Thanks!
