You guys are still at it with this? We don't want regulation. The unregulated sites are more popular, have better software, and aren't run by incompetent US government employees. The last thing we want is regulation.

Good thing it isn't happening ANY time soon.

If you think Bovada has better software than say WSOP.com NV, you're on crack. Bovada's software is by far the worst I have ever seen in any site.

Outside Bovada and WPN, what sites are big enough to even give a damn about?

We've seen government action against these sites, questionable safety and outright cheating of players on some sites, etc. There's no long term in offshore sites. Besides, we ought to be standing up for our liberties against those who'd ban our game.

As for the game itself, licensed sites will grow as more states get involved. Not sure why you think U.S. government employees run these sites. They are privately run, regulated by state (not federal) regulators.
