Is there any benefit in keeping the same username across sites?

I've played exclusively on Stars to date, but am getting a bit tired of their SnG formats after the reshuffle they had a while back.
Going to open a GG account. Should I keep the same name?
Feels a silly question, but didn't want to create something new only to find I missed a benefit of staying the same across all platforms.

No, my guess would be the opposite if you happen to play with any other players on other sites. Zero benefit, that being said the negative isn't that big of a deal.

The only benefit would be if you are trying to be known or develop yourself as some sort of brand in some way. As far as ev at the table, I could only think it's likely to be a minor negative.

Might be a benefit to other players who play across the same sites as you. Otherwise no.
