STT: change blinds every X hands instead of minutes

In mixed cash games the game is usually changed every X hands. In tournaments the blinds are changed every X minutes.

I propose that PokerStars should change this and implement blind changes every X hands instead of every X minutes for Single Table Tournaments.

It's more fair and completely eliminates any advantage of stalling the game.

When SNGs were first introduced they did it like this: Party went up every 8 hands and Pacific went up every 12 hands (IIRC - both could be slightly different).

No idea why they changed it to be based on time (and also IIRC, the change wasn't very popular with regs back then either).

Agreed, I always thought this format was superior as well. Paradise Poker always increased the blinds every 10 hands.
