went through 4 pages here and didn't see a thread about it, but I was wondering what are the speeds people have been getting their checks from stars lately post echeck/epass problems? The first checks i cashed out came real quick, like days, i was impressed, during the echeck fiasco last month. But then apparently it seems like the last one right after that took a little over 2 weeks, which came a week or so ago.

so basically, if I am looking to get money off of FT, I should prolly just xfer it w/ someone for stars and get a check from them instead?

no, you shouldn't do this

stars is not a bank, nor a payment processor.

hmm, I guess I'll cash out some "random" amount from Stars first, then xfer a "coincidentally" similar amount of money in.. you have a problem with that as well?

Can anyone tell me if they still have different time frames for different amounts? For example checks over $1000 used to be sent by courier and all checks under that amount went by regular mail. Is this still the case or are all checks processed the same now? Thx.

Cashed out on Thursday May 29th around 11PM. Had it before I got back home from my vacation on June 1st. And that was over a weekend so I was very happy. So they basically had a check cut and it in the mail by friday afternoon. I received it before Sunday night when I got home. Mail isnt delivered on Sunday so that means I got it on Saturday. And I live in Florida.

Now that I think about it that is ****ing lightning fast to get it via snail mail. Mad props to you Poker Stars.

I hit the cashout via check and within 30 seconds the check was at the door. Coulda been a little quicker. IMO

well, if you do this, I hope Stars doesn't allow you to cash out unless you give them an adequate amount of play.

transferring money to Stars and withdrawing it immediately is simply not fair to those who regularly play and pay rake to Stars.

My last two checks (Late april and early May) took much longer than normal (and they obv. switched payment processors) - about 2 weeks, compared to 3 to 4 days which almost every other check was.

obv I will continue to play. No reason to keep multiple thousands of dollars on their site if I intended to not play.
