Hmm, strange, cause Ive deposited many times via CC bank wire, and when I deposited with skrill last, was for 1k, played a bit, attempted to cash out 2.5k and was only allowed to cash out to skrill my original deposit of 1k.

Cashouts are first processed back to the method(s) used to deposit. Within each deposit method, cashouts are then applied back to your oldest deposit first and your most recent deposit last. When applying cashouts back to previous deposits, cashouts are converted to the currency your previous deposits were processed in.

Due to changes in MasterCard's policy, we can no longer credit cashouts back to MasterCards.

We apologize if our cashout policy is an inconvenience, but this is a security feature designed to protect our customers against fraud. It ensures that no one can profit from misuse of another's account.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

I had this same issue with an MB withdrawal yesterday. It initially said it was under review and now it says that it requires my attention. I sent security a message 12 hours ago and still nothing. My account is still open and I can register for tourneys, etc. Maybe they are matching PokerStars' records to MB's and if the address or something slightly differs then they flag it...not sure though just speculating

Yeah, I am. I was wondering about that, too.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

afaik, PS used to keep money on deposit with moneybookers. This is what allowed quick cashouts.

Possibly with all the DoJ siezures, I don't think they keep as much with moneybookers.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

I had one on Feb. 26th take 2 days (usually it's <24 hours), then one on Feb. 28th still processing. American relocated to Canada, though I've been in Asia the last 5 days. I've never had any issues like this in 8+ years on Stars, so I assume it's a MB/Skrill issue?

Haven't heard back from Stars security on this either, and general support only emailed two days ago that I'm in que. I'm a pretty high volume player, but didn't email vip.

Probably something going on behind the scenes...

Yep I heard a rumor from someone who knows some people at Stars and they said it is a Moneybookers issue but we should have got some warning and should be able to cancel...

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

It's amazing. I get kicked out my own country, move across the ocean where I don't know anyone or speak the language, all to play this game that isn't even illegal. Then I get here and still have to give the US govt a third of what I make in taxes. And all I want to do is cash out my USD and transfer it from Moneybookers to my US bank and I get a message saying "UIGEA blah blah" and Neteller says you can withdraw your money into whatever currency your bank account is in *except USD. I want to kill a penguin right now.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

I'm not sure it's about MB.
Bc I request the cashout through WebMoney, and two of my friends through WireTransfer had the same issue.

its not a moneybookers thing, echecks have been very very slow, usually they get processed in 1-4hours, now they have been taking 3 days

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

I'm from USA now in NZ, having trouble with wire transfer. 13 days so far, it's never taken more than 5 days. Asked stars about it 3 days ago and haven't heard back aside from their "forwarding to our internal team" response.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

does this have to do with FATCA?

http://www.aca.ch/joomla/index.php?o...d=473&Itemid=2

stuff like this makes me wonder if there could come a day when all gambling sites refuse USA citizens regardless of residency in order to avoid dealing with the USA government.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

I'm a relocated american. My 2.3k cashout has been on hold now since the morning of 3/1 with little word/dialogue from pokerstars. I kindly asked them to have it ready the night of 3/4 since it was really going to help me and their cashout window said I would have it within 72 hours from request time however that did nothing to help.

I just hope its not a liquidity issue on pokerstars' side but its hard to know when they aren't saying anything.

Did a test withdraw from Stars just now, granted just for $100, and it cleared in a minute or so.

Re: Stars/Moneybookers Cashout Problems

My W/D from the 28th finally cleared today along with an email from Security.

"...PokerStars cash outs to Skrill (and all other payment processors) are currently being processed as normal.

Unrelated to any payment processors, there have been some cash outs that have been delayed as part of security reviews - this includes the delay that you endured here. These reviews have largely been generated as a result of past access to PokerStars services from the United States (or a connection that PokerStars believes might have been located in the United States)."

I normally grind in Vancouver and have logged into the client starting early March 2nd (PST) from Asia. I haven't logged into Stars from the US since April or May when they told us to stop doing that as wistful Americans who hadn't yet relocated.

Maybe they're just taking additional measures to try and catch people playing from the US after that thread about the SNE who was caught (with claims a ton of people are doing it), etc.

Yeah don't try to do that. It's a Valid Reason, like giving a cop permission to search your car. They might decide that they have reasonable grounds to terminate your account, then they might charge you a "repair fee" and send back some of the money you've received and inform you that its beyond their control, that you should collect it by another means, even if that happens to be impossible. Then you'll be shocked to discover that the customer service rep tells you your balance is zero or worse yet, negative. "Well wtf did these Slavic simians do with my hard earned money", you'll ask yourself. It seems they sent it. They sent it back. Yes, back, that's it. It was a check, no a refund to your credit card or maybe an electronic transfer of some sort. You know how these things go. What can they say? It got lost. Check with your bank. Here's a transaction number that doesn't mean anything. If worst comes to worst you can just take them to court, you're willing to do that, right?

Withdrew 2/21, still nothing. I've sent emails to support and they told me they forwarded it to whomever reviews the withdrawals but they can't help me with anything else.
