I was able to convert my FPP's to cash after US players were banned, now they have blocked us from cashing in anymore

I'm worried they will not honor our FPP's for VIP cash bonuses, anyone here anything?

No one can predict what will happen. Just know that throughout the years Stars has shown a level of service and professionalism unheard of in this industry. I highly doubt they will do anything that can be construed as unfair to the players.

And aren't those technically our money or rakeback? They would have to give or cash the points in for us for a money equvilent

Pokerstars tshirts and cookie baskets for all.

Great chance for them to clear all the old stock too.

the optimist in me thinks they blocked the exchange for now because they are coming up with a new exchange rate for US players, so they don't want people buying them now. that may not end up being true, but i doubt PS is just gonna confiscate all FPPs. We've got a few weeks before we can even cash out, let's just be patient and see what happens.

jfresh - Yeah, I have to think that is correct. They have already said they are working on a plan for the FPP's. So if they are considering 1.6c for everyone...or for certain situations...then blocking the FPP buys now saves them a gigantic of headache of going back and re-doing every single person who complains they bought theirs at 1.3c because they didn't know the 1.6c option would be available in the future.

Something like that anyway. Them blocking the FPP buys now is almost certainly a good sign when combined with their previous statement that they are working on what they will do with the FPP stuff.

I understand why people panic over each little thing. But seriously, Stars is trying to do the right thing through all of this. Try to cool down your own personal level of panic if you can.

I want one! (although I would be somewhat of a poser since poker is more hobby than job).

I did a concierge request that was processed/submitted and my FPPs deducted the day before Black Friday. It has been 8 days, and my account has not been credited for the concierge request, even though my fpps have been deducted and I received an email stating that it has been submitted for processing. I have emailed pokerstars vip and sent a PM to Pokerstars Steve as well. I will keep everyone posted on their response and turnaround time.

Obviously, I'm not in a rush for them to process it, but it would be nice if it is processed, by the time they figure out how they will do cashouts for USA players.

I guess worse case scenerio, I can buy the neiman marcus gift cards and gas cards if they refund my fpps. Are you able to buy stuff from the VIP store with your fpps at this current time? I do not have enough fpps do a test. Thanks in advance!

Do we have to request payouts from PS or are they just automatically closing accounts and sending checks to all US players?

Not sure how they will do it. If my memory serves me correctly, I think in 2006 party poker sent me a paper check, even though I did not request it, because I had always used the e-check option.

I am not concerned about Pokerstars. They have always been first-rate with me. Besides, Pokerstars still has a thriving business without US players, and they know that the rest of the world will be watching how they handle this situation. I expect nothing but the best treatment from Pokerstars, which is what I have always received.
