I am a long time Pokerstars player. I have cashed out well over 100 times in over a 5 year span. I am well aware of the "official" timelines for approval and processing to the bank but these have always been worst case and 99.99% much faster. Approval in the past was never over 2 hours and on a business day received my money next day EVERYTIME. The last 3 months there has been a significant delay in times. Although the official timeline for approval and withdrawal remain the same now approval time varies from a few hours to 24 hours and i've only received funds the next day once. It's 2-5 days now and this is not the norm of the last 5 years plus. Is pokerstars staggering cashout requests to keep funds on the site or is there another reason it's taking significantly longer such as they do not wish to process fast anymore.

Cut backs in staff to save money, obv. But, only keep the minimum possible on any poker site regardless.

I didn't even know about the staff cutbacks earlier. You should actually be super concerned now

It's common sense to assume based on the quality of support and response times that there has been heavy decline in staffing numbers, especially with the template responses but cashouts I assumed were aproved automatically within the system, and only system generate alerts prompted slight delays. There shouldn't be this much variance in times but it's obvious things have changed. I'm just hoping it doesn't signify financial problems

Well they probably are just waiting for enough people to deposit to cover your withdrawal. Super duper concerned now if you think about it

It seems laughable and it likely is but let's not forget this is how FTP showed chinks in the armor and then went busto shortly after in 2011.

Not sure I would qualify Full Tilt's inability to actually receive American deposits (while crediting their accounts) as a chink in the armor, rather it was more akin to removing all the armor and running directly into a wall of swords.

All of OP's posts are Stars whine posts (likely the same for his past posting accounts), so his rants of the day need to be taken with a grain of salt. If we ever see something more systemically problematic, involving people without a personal agenda, that would be more cause for initial concern.

Allmost every time a site went under the first 'symptoms' were that cashouts started taking longer and longer time to process. So yes you should be concerned. Esp now when the new vip system in coming and people are cashing out like madmen you want to be in top of that line. It just might be they run out of liquity because nobody wants to deposit there anymore.

Responses to emails take a lot longer now and I too have noticed cash outs taking longer.

What worries me the most is if they are cutting back staff in these areas, it seems reasonable to assume they are cutting back on things regarding game security. I know a lot of people talk about trusting stars less now when playing live, more recreational types.

I think this will catch up to stars in the next year or so, losing customer trust and bleeding customers more quickly seems like it can't go on for too long. I hope those short term profits are worth it to them.
