I'm pretty sure there are 2 ways to link your bank acct with them.

Instant, by giving them your online banking details to prove it is your account (you can change them right after).

A few days, by waiting for transfers to show in your account and telling them how much like PP does.

If you mean by like SMS the ones I've seen are a way bad deal, I guess because of the cut the provider takes.

I will check it out, ty. For me, its not the idea of getting the coins that worries me, its that aparently you need to also protect your virtual loot. just kinda tough to wrap my brain around

People make it sound scarier than it is. Just keep it in SWC, your wallet, or an online wallet.

IMO you should have a healthy fear of trusting any organization with your coins, and even trusting yourself should be scary. If you keep your coins on your PC, then anyone with access to that physical machine can steal your coins. If you encrypt the wallet, the would be thief now needs your password and physical access to your PC. If you forget that password, your coins are gone forever. If you send your coins to SWC then you have to trust SWC. If you send them to MtGox you must trust that organization.

A famous story from early bitcoining concerns mybitcoin.com packing up and leaving. Just listen to the somber tone in the hosts voice as he loses 25,000 coins himself in August of 2011:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=4FZldY-ZBBE

And realize the unforgiving nature of the currency before you acquire a large sum of it. I implore you to investigate how to most securely hold your coins if you plan on playing in bitcoinland.

A little off topic, but do you have any info on how to make BTC mining, or whatnot? If you have info could you PM me? Just basically looking to play a little on SWC to try it out, and I've been doing little surveys and such.

Mining is typically not worth it for amateurs at this point. If you have a Radeon HD 5xxx or 7xxx card already then it could be. If not, it is better to just buy btc directly.

You are going to need at least three of those cards.

fwiw Mining them with a CPU will be a waste of time.

Unless we get solid regulation, the future of online poker in the U.S. is right here. I started playing this weekend and this will be my new home. I want to help this site grow. I don't love the software, but it's not terrible. Not much traffic, but I can deal with it for a little while as I'm not a pro.
11-11-2012 , 07:27 PM
I just started also. Very nice there for what it is

I'm a big fan of KingKongGrinder, so I will be migrating over to Seals w/Clubs today. Can some put a brief FAQ why others like myself should make the move?

Instant cashouts.

No need to give your personal information.

50% rakeback on hu and 3 handed tables.

Soft cash games

Will be starting a league on their site soon with winners getting free entries to their gtd tournies. (See post above)

Site is growing.

Can play on a tablet, Mac, PC, as it is browser based.

Some cons are that the software isn't great and not alot of traffic.

What is a bitcoin and how much are they worth compared to dollars?
11-12-2012 , 11:44 AM
As of now, a btc (bitcoin) is worth 10.97 usd.

Bitcoins are a digital currency. A Google search is the best way to learn about it. You can create a free znd secure wallet to store your btc's at blockchain.info.

You can buy and sell them at various exchanges online.
