Is this the stoner thats responsible for our money and the owner of SWC?

12-22-2013 , 11:15 AM
No, Bryan Micon is not the owner, he is the head of the "Seals pros" and in charge of affiliates/marketing, probably the tournament schedule and some support.

The owner is someone by the name "Freemoney", who is anonymous. Not sure if that relaxes your mind? Well.. considering the laws in the USA about poker I personally think it's an advantage that the owner is unknown. And because Seals has been here for almost 3 years with many players/money I personally trust them completely with my bankroll. (edit: when I say 'many players/money' it's many in my interpretation, of course still nothing compared to stars etc)

(that being said.. about that hack.. the passwords probably shouldn't be hashed with SHA-1, but many iterations of SHA-512 or smth - I assume they do this now. So far I haven't heard of stolen funds cuz of that tho, seems forcing the new passwords and locking accounts works ok.)

LOLZ I feel 100 percent secure with him at the helm and I am not saying that facetiously. You left out the best you tube one were he is levitating on a TV in his bathrobe when mr doom saw that one he instaquit. Honestly I would guess that free money is the blue mosprite of seals and hat is correct in his assumption.

I still don't get how everything passwords emails were compromised. Seals went to a new hosting service that went rouge and stole all the info?

mtts only get 40 plus on weekends for sat 5k and sun bigbtc. Sngs run sporadically. Mtt schedule sorely needs revamping to make it viable.

Seas is currently the biggest site catering to bitcoins there are other sites with even less traffic. Seals traffic has increased steadily since I started in March , doing a lot of things right just takes time.

Is it possible to get seals hands into HEM or any other poker database?
12-23-2013 , 05:05 PM
Any word on transfers yet?

I've had two cashouts the past ~5 days. One took ~48 hours during the whole database fiasco (1 BTC), next one took ~10 hours (3 BTC). You should definitely contact support if you haven't already, and make sure your cashout is still listed as pending

Same for me. Over 48 hours later and nothing. Emailed support. I was admittedly impatient when it took over 15 hours and it eventually showed up, but now I'm borderline concerned.

Cashed out tuesday morning around 7 am, had it in wallet by noon.
12-25-2013 , 12:46 PM
Please report back guys if you do hear from support or get your cashouts.

Hmm, I actually just requested a withdrawal at like 3am Pacific and it arrived at 8am.

I wasn't sure if they'd be processing them on Christmas morning so that was a nice surprise.
12-25-2013 , 01:30 PM
Again, I'm an idiot. It was actually processed nearly immediately. However, Coinbase never emailed me upon receipt. So I'm not totally an idiot, but partially for sure. Coinbase didn't even email after I sold it too. Something must be up with them.

Sigh.

But mega props to Seals for replying quickly, even on Festivus...

Might want to check your notification settings on Coinbase. I turned off notifications like that, so it can be done.

Thanks, that's the first thing I checked, and they're still enabled. Checked spam folder too. But still, based on me being an idiot, anything is possible.

FPDB supports the native hands. PokerPlaner supposedly will convert the hands into a HM1/2 readable format but it is not free and I have no idea how well it works.

Anyone been able to transfer since the pword reset?

Holidays to tend to slow down withdrawals at most poker sites. Human beings tend to take vacations at major holidays such as Christmas.
