Re: Scammed by Hambone4k?

I'd say the last handful of posts have been right on the money. Simple case of freerolling gone horribly wrong but completely expected. Of course he couldn't stop when he was up to 11k..he could see $20k being so close and started having wet dreams about $100k then reality ***** smacked him.

Re: Scammed by Hambone4k?

My latest contact with Hambone4k was about 24 hours ago.

We've pretty much removed the clutter and are driving to the heart of the matter.

I'll be offline for the next 24-48 hours. Hopefully upon my return I'll have a new reply.

That sucks man, I got the impression from reading Clamper's posts that maybe he was reaching out to him to try and make things right, not just keep denying everything.

Re: Scammed by Hambone4k?

Yea i did too, I think he still will make things right.

Merge finally got back to me with their opinion that he was not hacked (the account was always played from the same IP address his account usually was, plus the duration of time it took to lose the 8k normally a hacked freeride is a matter of hours not days). They froze his account, and told me there is 49 cents in it.

I emailed Eric Hardt (hambone4k) this information and that he needs to hold up his end of the agreement and pay me the 8k.

We'll see what he says. His last activity of 2+2 was yesterday at 12:56pm so he's clearly around, no excuses for him not to respond.

The more pressure on him the more likely he is to pay up IMO.

Merge froze his account after there was so much activity in it. I wonder if hambone4k even emailed Merge in the first place. Why did Merge wait so long to lock the account? Almost pointless now when there is only 49 cents in it.

There was a corner of my mind that was wondering if Eric Hardt had told the truth about being multi-hacked -- Not Anymore.

This is infuriating. Eric Hardt must not know what an IP address is. How can someone this ignorant think that he can be a winning poker player?!

Eric Hardt -- make arrangements to pay while you still can. Courts and jail and civil suits are all worse than 2+2 condemnation.

I highly doubt Hambone4k ever emailed merge...
He needed to keep his account open so he could try to make a sick comeback and pay up...
These lies are so transparent its not even funny. I feel like some 8 year old kid has told his story and is sticking to it, even after is completely obvious hes been made.

Is that really that surprising from the guy who thought making a thread called "Merge accounts hacked, what to do?" would be enough to convince everyone he was hacked?

Hambone4k (Smittty1717 on Lock) agreed to trade his $7,360 for bcgt178 (DutchBook on Lock)'s $8,000 in Lock funds. Hambone4k quickly lost most of the money, and has been claiming to be hacked despite all the play being from the same IP as he's always used.

It's a lot like what Cornell Fiji did when he ripped Admo off, if you followed that saga.

They could do that but they claim he only has like 49 cents left. They should have locked his account awhile ago when he still had something left to take.

Re: Scammed by Hambone4k?

WOW.. 1st off this thread should be in the DEGEN thread how Hambone4k was a degen and stole another 2p2 money and gambled it all away.... This is the same Guy that was arrested for buying steroids?? Can you explain that Hambone4k? My thoughts about this is 1st off i think Hambone4k should obv repay the money and its disgusting how hes sticking to his story altho we all know your guilty... Just cuz OJ SIMPSON got off does not mean your going to get off... Ive always learn if you walk like a duck talk like a duck you are a duck... Everything points to your direction... HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE IP ADDRESSES ARE THE SAME? Once you knew about it you still had money on Lock why didnt you tell them to suspend your account because someone was using it?? To many questions you cant answer my best advice for you is honestly GET A LAWYER... IMO even once you repay the money.. beleive me you will repay the money, If im OP I would still file charges against you after you paid him the money because its quite obvious you've done this before and probably will do it again... So now you thought you scammed 8k probably will cost you over 10k for a lawyer and your going to repay the 8k so your looking at -EV over 18k maybe Jail time maybe not... **If im 2p2 I WOULD BAN Hambone4k once this whole thing is over with, we dont need scu*bag* like him on this site**

Now for OP Ill make this short and to the point... You got fuc*ed, everything should turn out alright and you should get your 8k back (eventually).... Let this be a lesson learn DONT EVER TRUST ANYONE ON THE INTERNET... there was so many signs Hambone4k was a scu*bag... do me and everyone a favor PRESS CHARGES ON HIM... if you dont hes going to do this again and put someone else in the same situation your in... thats all I ask, not asking for much...

Re: Scammed by Hambone4k?

I still dont understand why his account was allowed to play for days after the scam took place. The scammer obviously didn't contact lock, but why didn't the victim email lock requesting the scammer's account be frozen?
