How does not agreeing to change YOUR mistake = not giving money back?

I'm not sure what you're really hoping for - no one here can do much, aside from maybe a Stars rep seeing your post and taking an interest. But likely they will see that it is already being looked after (as it seems to be) and let things take their course.

You're going to need to show a little patience. This is going to take days, not minutes or hours.

Make sure you stay calm, stay humble and stay polite in dealing with them. Acknowledge you mistake, emphasize it was out of ignorance not malice, and kindly ask for mercy.

maybe they just want a fresh start, with you off the site. But, seriously they'll just transfer that $600 into your old account I'm pretty sure.

Also, if you are starting over and going to play your best poker from here on out just use the bad stats to your advantage. Play really solid and have people look you up thinking you suck, seems like a good situation to me.

Ok I understand not wanting people with multiple accounts, but it's pretty ****ty that they let you deposit and then freeze your account. Why wouldn't they just not except your deposit at all?

That's the problem he's having - rather than excepting his deposit, they accepted it.

But on a serious note, I assume they didn't discover an issue until after he deposited.

just count your lucky stars its stars and not some [insert random money grabbing site], they will usually do right by their customers, as long as it was an honest mistake

Now this is just silly

Simply work on your game and improve, regs will think they're dealing with a fish and you'll be printig money

And yeah Stars don't steal from anyone so if they decide it was an honest one-timer you'll probably get your money back together with your old acc

As someone said earlier, just be polite and honest about how stupid you are in general. Others use "fresh starts" to get multiple bonuses or to multi account so even if you are as clueless as you claim - you did mimic the low level rules violating behavior of others.

You talk about your bad stats, why not just exclude yourself from the various tracking sites, and in fact the default now is for the stats not to be shown unless you opt in, so your logic on that point is a bit weak, since I assume you did not voluntarily opt in (and even then you can still lock your stats if you want).

All the best.

You tell me, considering I never brought up his money other then to wish him luck retrieving it. Thanks for emphasizing it was my mistake by capitalizing "your" like I never said it was. You must think you win the internets everyday.

btw, the site never got my business after they refused to correct the mistake.

there are still sites that show your stats by default and not everyone knows to block themselves from all of them....and im sure there is tracking we can't block.

And why specifically $600? Why not $500 or $700?

That was my desired roll (all i could afford), why it matters i don't know, $600 is alot of money just to be 'taken' from you, not even given a chance to try make money with. say i lose $600 over a period of time, that's my wrong doing, my bad poker skills. but having it just taken from you out of your control hurts you alot more then if you were to lose it, catch my drift? so just because i'm a losing player, your assuming that money is going to be lost anyway and i shouldn't contest this getting taken away from me?

He was probably asking because $600 happens to be the exact minimum amount needed for a full new player bonus, so it is one of the handful of interesting aspects of your story.

You need to convince Stars that you are as genuinely dumb as you claim to be, because you have done the exact same behavior of every unimaginative angle shooter that deposited $600 to multiple accounts on Stars (to get multiple new player bonuses) before you.

For what it is worth I put it 50/50 that you are a not so bright angle shooter that got caught or a genuinely completely clueless human that has no idea how the basics work in this industry (despite knowing about 2+2 for years as well as how the tracking sites work...). OK, I admit I am leaning more on the dumb angle shooter at this point in time, but really I do not care that much in the end.

All the best.

unless you've done this more than once I think they will just transfer the 600 to your old account

So problem is solved? I for one believe you that you just weren't thinking this through very well.

Good luck focusing and grinding and turning it all around with the old account.

If you gave the same info as in your previous account, I think there is a decent chance for PS to close the new account and transfer the monies to the old one. You obviously wont get the bonus though.

PS isnt in it to steal your monies. If they believe you honestly didnt know, they will require you to read the tos, sign a document saying you understand it and give you the one and only chance.
