And therein dies another conspiracy theory.
The conspiracy theories were certainly off. However, it's important to note that the WSOP.com social media interacted with zero player concerns, announced nothing related to the crash, and, according to numerous reports, player emails and phone calls went unanswered. That is not acceptable to me.
This company has significant operational and management issues. I don't see how anyone can argue otherwise.
This is not how a regulated poker site should be handling situations like this IMO. Most, maybe even all, offshore ones own these issues and keep players informed. Why can't a licensed poker site do it?
It's time to stop defending this operation. It's time to demand better from regulators.
