the problem is that 5050 will have more collusion, ps just dont want to pay for the refunds anymore, sot they found a way.

Maybe players from China to accuse Pokerstars about discrimination (Only 1 player from China to one table)

Really dissapointed with PS, they should have announced it way earlyier IMO, was planning on getting over 500k VPP with DONS. Steve could you please inform us on WHY PS is dumping DONS? you're just comparing the DONS with the FIFTY50's but there just diffrent games, why not run both?.

i and basically erry stt reg is rambling about the collude or nothings since they were introduced.

Love it. I really enjoy the 50-50s so far because there's obviously tons of players who don't understand that just trying to survive with 1000 chips is not rewarding in any way, might as well play HU SNGs, bigger chance of winning at least twice. Instead of just the buy-in + 70cents or so (I'm playing the $1, $5, $10 and $20, not the highest ones).
Although I'm not sure, that this will draw (all) DoN Players to the 50-50 format because adjusting your game is vital in order to make 50-50s profitable and although adjusting your game is emphasized in many different aspects of the game if most people were true to themselves then wouldn't they have to admit that adjusting is not easily accomplished, esp not for every individual, be it a poker player or not. Although I did not play the DoNs at all (maybe 10 at best in 2010) you could get the impression that it might sorta have crippled some people's full ring sng skills or not? Some plays just make me wonder.

hey steve i am not much of a complainer but ....
first you change the hyperturbo structure and make it even harder to beat with a good roi eliminating 3rd place bubbles.
and now you cut off double or nothings.
i have no problem i was going to move to heads cash sooner or later but this will affect a lot of the other regs.

It doesn't go unnoticed that you guys are putting game integrity ahead of profits with this decision. I think that is great. And if I'm reading OP properly, less rake in all STTs is obviously great news for those of us who are more interested in profiting from poker rather than your VIP program.

Have you been living in a hole in the ground for the past few months? Even though it's only officially being announced now this decision shouldn't shock anybody in the community.

Yes, I have in effect been living in a hole. I don't really pay attention to poker legislation, game changes, etc. I just play. Ugh. Unlike others here, I'm not that good at poker and DONs were the only game I was able to beat before the rake. Oh well, I guess I'll have to learn to beat the 50-50s. Such is life.

Lower the rake for Turbo Fifty50s to the Turbo DON level. The turbos are play far more than the regular games. It essentially is a rake hike for most DON players.

But if the rake goes down then I won't get as many vpps.


Seriously though the rake for the turbo fifty50s is still to high and for the love of god make the BIs a semi round number. Also NLO8 fifty50s would be amazing.

So what are all you don regs gonna do now?

I wonder if Stars will eventually do something similar with all satellites--just add some (small) incentive for players to finish the sat with bigger stacks.
