Hi, I just had an awful experience with PokerStars. Basically what happened was that I thought I had until Monday 10 am to finish my bonus. Having all day to get like 100vpps would be much of a problem.

Opening my client today I saw that the bonus was gone. And I asked PokerStars support why. They told my that my bonus has expired since the 30 days have passed. This makes no sense to me since I thought I still had more time.

After checking when I actually activated the bonus I see that the 30 days have passed. But what pisses me off is that I was led to believe that I had until Monday 10 am to finish it. (Which would be 31.5 days).

When asking about why it said Monday in my client, they told me it had something to do with the time zones. I have Central European Time, and its 1:16pm Sunday. Also there are like 4 places on earth right now where it's Monday and none of them are past 10 am.

Am I in the wrong here? (I have no proof that my client said Monday 10am, but for the sake of the argument assume it did.)

Anyone else with the same experience?

Why? If someone wants to change the default timezone, it would surely only ever be because they understand about time and the different zones.

If they didn't and yet were still trying to change something they didn't understand, then more fool them.

I know some people don't like to hear this, but before stars was bought by amaya they would just give you another day to get it done, no problem. Like, as soon as you emailed them without even asking type of deal.

Ah, I miss those days.

They should use the last time zone so everyone who is clueless about time zone don't have to worry about it.

Partypoker is great when it is private, I remember getting like $400 bonus a day sometime due to hidden code & take less the 3 days to clear play 50/100 cent limit. Soon it become public the site when to ***** just like Pokerstars.
