Is there anyone way to go back to the legacy version after the update.

Is there a way to know if one is currently using Aurora or not on stars?


The thing is last time i did that legacy = 0 thing in the user setting which someone told me the steps to which would disable aurora.


Also i haven't did any stars update in a while.

Animation - Disabled

Zoom Animation - Disabled

Aurora Graphics Quality - High

Aurora Ambient Animations - Disabled

Throwables - Disabled



What should I choose each of these 5 options? So the first one should be change the animation from disabled to full with ko animation?


Aurora Ambient animations to Enabled?


What about throwables?

Why when I use headphones I can hear the other poker rooms just fine but instead pokerstars sounds comes from laptop sound case and not from the headphones?

I do have a ton of lag once I hit say 10 tables or so. But the lag happens even at 8 tables sometimes or even less.


So I wanted to know in those 5 settings... are those the correct settings to have.


I don't even use throwables so is it fine with that setting or just enable all?

once it's all messed up you're probably better off asking someone trustworthy to share with you the client files from before the update so you could replace them entirely and it's only gonna last until the next forced update which is probably on it's way judging by how long there weren't any

You will get used to it in few weeks.
Also to be easier you can use StarsCaption so you can make cards/pots etc bigger.
And disable the animations.

yes, like cr1s5t1 said, disable all animations, put aurora settings to low quality, and then get stars caption (it is absolutely worth the annual price of like 30$ or so!). i have an ultra shitty, 10 year old PC for grinding, and it works perfectly fine, no lags or whatsoever.

Anyone with an older client noticing more frequent disconnects while playing? I haven't updated since the last forced update, and it feels like I lose connection to stars--only stars--a bit too frequently; once per week, with no ongoing general internet issues.

What in the world is going on with the chests? It used to be 1250 points to open a bronze chest, right?

Now all of a sudden next chest required 1850 points to open. Reward was the same as previously for the 1250 point chest (20 coins, 1$, freeroll ticket). And now I need 5950 points to open the next bronze chest.

What in the world is going on? Are they just drawing random numbers now to open these chest? Could it be related to me moving up from PLO2 to PLO5?

If you are winning you need more points for chests. Simple as that.

arghhh this aurora theme kills my last nerves

for what i need this stars caption to solve this problem,i set down the quality of engine of this software but it`s still lagging and hanging when i play

Is there a way to increase the size of cards? I bought gto v2 layout and it all seems good only thing is, their cards are like extra small and i have seen as big as even covering your username, that would be handy af if someone could help out.

Yes, I think I have very similar issue like you described by I get those short disconnections more often. Tried tons of things to do, sent about 10 emails to support and still haven't find a solution

Are these 5 settings I have correct or incorrect? I had aurora graphics quality on low... then switched it to high. But the tables lag a ton.


I was testing around 12 tables on stars and the lag is extremely bad. I use starscaption and even with it, the lag is bad. When you try to drag tables, many times it doesn't even drag correctly.


Before this aurora, I remember testing 20 tables or more and there was not an lag issue at all.


Do people with very fast laptops still have the same issue with aurora?


I am using an older dell xps laptop that is i5-6300hq but I do have an ssd and 32gb ram. I know this laptop is a bit old but its still a quad core.


Back before aurora, I remember I tested 20 tables and this was with 8gb ram and rarely was there an any lag.


So are people having issues once they go 8+ tables? I read some people have issues even going 6 tables on stars with aurora?

Yes But mauybe we can downgrade it again, and play again in olde version.. i dont know.. Aurora is terrible
