Huh, the 3-30+r 180-mans(Or now they are 3.38+r) are no longer turbo´s. Which means the rebuy period are an hour long now instead of 30 mins.

I don't play SnG's but from a brief scan of the lobby and from what I remember it as rakewise Pstars is shooting themselves in the foot.
This reminds me of Paradise Poker just after UIGEA. I used to play HU limit Cash and the rake was .25cents when the pot hit $20 and .50cents when it hit $30 dollars. After UIGEA when 80% of their customer base left they decided to raise the rake on this game, and in doing so lost another 19% of their player base. Not a good decision for the players nor the site.

hey Steve, quick question: for US players, it seems there is no way to download an up-to-date pokerstars client. is this intentional? it seems unnecessary when all US players are blocked from real money play already.

and what about the auto-update in already-installed client? if there is an update on pokerstars server, will an older version of client download/install the update when it starts up?

This is important because I believe a lot of US players still want/need to have the updated software.

Iam the classic Donk, few beers at weekend then play poker..But for the life of me I cannot work out what games are what in stt lobby , no color difference or nothing, truly awful.

Think me as a euro will play Ipoker, whos stt lobby looks 1000 times easier on the eye than stars, thought I would never say that

just played my first set and the blind structure is tilting the living **** out of me. Before, the "difficult" blind levels were at bb50- bb100 and it was over after 10min. Now we have bb40-bb120 which lasts 18 ****ING MINUTES.

I slightly understand the reason why you changed the rake but why in ****'s name did you have to completely **** up the turbo structure, which was so neat???

seriously considering full tilt now

HU 1,2,3,5 & 10€

Thank you all for taking the time to offer your feedback, both positive and negative. As stated in the OP, the intent of these changes is to make rake more consistent with the overall net effect for players being a very slight reduction.

There is significant negative feedback here. PokerStars will take some time to review this feedback in detail with open minds. Please allow some time for analysis but I will post here again to directly address the concerns that have been raised.

Please feel free to continue to post any and all thoughts about the changes as PokerStars will continue to monitor the thread.

What happened to Fixed Limit HU S'n'G? Why did you remove 300$ limit? Nonsense.
And new structure is awful. Stars added 100-200 instead of 80-160 and it become more dispersive. But they left useless 10-20 blinds, which doesn't cause any influence on game but take a lot of time to play.
And where is 2k,5k limits?

Just turn it all back how it was and we ll forgive you. And dont try any BS like that again. Seriously I was sure that I am today depositing 550 usd, but now I´m all like "wtf the rake is high, I dont even know if I can beat those new blind structure effectively" and I am not depositing. There are players here who are withdrawing their bankrolls cuz they got pissed off. Just turn it back and feel ashamed for a moment.
