I'm quite sure that you understand that you did not pay for the service you bought (and by 'bought' I mean agreed to pay for and received). While tihis may not have been your fault originally, by trying to hide behind semantics and bluster, you have turned yourself into a thief (one who knowingly steals from another).
These are extracts from PS Real Money Transaction Processing and Currency Conversion terms of service, which you agreed to when you set up your account.
"We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that transfers in and out of your account are processed in a timely manner. We give no warranties regarding the amount of time needed to complete processing. We cannot be held responsible for delays in the banking networks, failures on part of the processor or actions of other parties involved in the processing of funds that may result in processing delays, reprocessing or r
eversal of transactions or the seizure or freezing of funds, nor will we be liable for any actual or consequential damages arising from any claim of delay or seizure"
"Any returned transfers in will be debited from your account in the currency and amount credited to your Stars Account balance with your original request after currency conversion took place."
A transfer from you failed, and Stars have reversed it as they as entitled to do under the agreement you agreed to. You have a legal duty to pay them the money they never received. You will eventually be made to pay it, and it will end up costing you much more than what you currently owe. Don't be a dick.
