Pokerstars password problem

My girlfriend opened up a new pokerstars account but was only able to log into it from her desktop, not our laptop. I figure its a security thing because I have a stars account and play on the laptop (though very infrequently, Im stuck at FTP w/ rakeback). Anyway, she emails support and they say it shouldn't be a problem and we must have had capslock on or whatever. Of course that's no the case. She can log in on her desktop but the same information on our laptop doesn't work. (btw, I work with computers so I'm not a complete idiot about this).
It's very strange and support tells her to reset her password which she does... but she doesn't receieve an email. There is a page on stars that describes how to set up your email account so their emails arent marked as spam... information is outdated, plus she uses gmail and it puts spam in a separate folder but you can browse it. Still nothing from stars. Now she can't log in from either computer because she doesnt have the temp password. Support is useless and keep giving the same canned response.
So much for me trying to convince her online poker is legit (haha).
Anyway have any idea how to proceed, or why there was trouble logging in on the second computer in the first place? Is there a stars rep on the forum I can PM?
