Recently i have had the displeasure of falling trap to Party Pokers flawed Ticketing system, Allow me to explain. PartyPokers system puts an expiry date on tickets you acquire through satellites. Then once expiry happens, Poof. ITs gone and Party poker gets to keep the money.

This is from their terms and conditions i got sent from their live chat.

All tournament tickets have an expiry date set either as a specified date or a date after a specified period of time from the date on which the tournament ticket was acquired. Once a tournament ticket has expired, it can no longer be used and will be removed from Your Account.

What they fail to mention is where the money goes? Despite asking multiple times, i can only conclude its well, they keep it. I have played on many poker sites. All of which, if they have expiring tickets. Credit you with tournament Dollars. After all, your tickets are considered part of your balance, well at least i thought,

So, ive withdrawn my funds. For the foreseeable future i won't play on party poker. Not at least till this flawed system is rectified and/or my balance is restored.

Hmm i dont know of any other pokersite where tickets, after they expire, will be credited with t$ in ur account. Where do they do this?

Its your responsibility to use them before they expire.

Interesting, yeah it is my responsibility. As party has told me numerous times.
However, you are completely fine with Party Poker taking the money once it expires?
It's not like the money went into a prize pool, it's in ticket format in my account. Why should Party keep the money I rightfully earned through a satellite? That's my real question.

on all the other bigger sites i played (stars, 888, ACR) tickets vanished after expiration date and no tournament dollars. BUT i rarely play satellites, maybe the policy for tickets won through satellites is different, i dont know. when i had gotten a ticket it was mostly thorough some freeroll or deposit bonus.

and no i dont think its correct they keep the money, it should go back into the prizepool or be returned as ts as you said since the money is from the players of the site.

why are you playing in satellites which have a ticket as a prize and not T$ with no intention of playing the target tournament?

Besides this not being the point, I was unable to play last minute so I unregoed. It does happen.
