I lately I had repeated problems with the Pokerstars Casino.
First I was their most beloved customer. This was because i kept losing, I was down low 6 figures.
Then I finally went on a Heater and won it all back and even accumulated winnings. This was there the problems began. I couldnt access the casino anymore and I also couldn't make any withdrawals. Stars said that this was due to an Investigation. This took 3 weeks and I finally was allowed to withdraw some of my money.. They said the casino access was fully restored...Unfortunately from now on I only had trouble with them: All cash outs were delayed and took way to long (I was only allowed to cash out 45.500 at a time and every one took a week or longer).
At this point I still thought that Pokerstars is one of the best and most reputable casinos to play at, thats why I continued to play. I was lucky and won some more.
Now only shortly after the first investigation They again dont process any withdrawals, they also stopped replying to emails. Live Chat was no help either. My last cashout is pending for almost a month now. 45500€ are still pending and 77880€ is still in the account.
I am not trusting Stars anymore at all. I want my money back and they refuse to pay, Allegedly they are doing another investigation, although the last one was just finished and they didnt found anything.
By now they also blocked my casino access completely I also set them 2 deadlines to pay me prior to being forced to make this case public, as they gave me no other option after being faced with continued delays and excuses and not being replyed to at all.

Have you got any other evidence? Transcripts of live chat? Other emails?

What about transaction history?

Have you ever had any issues with your account?

Also, the date cannot be seen on the second picture.

Where do you live btw?

Idk how online casino games work but this seems pretty shady at face value.

But I would imagine it's just terrible customer service rather than them actually trying to scam you

Who knows tho we've seen huge companies go down in flames scamming customers out of their money in the process

What investigation are they doing for casino wins?

Unless you have multiple accounts or something I don't understand what they are investigating.

Sounds shady

It's really your own fault for winning; they're not fans of that

What legal jurisdiction are you in? What games did you win on?

Omegalul, this seems shady af. @Sooted, iirc he should be german but prob not living in germany, so the new laws for gambling shouldnt apply here.

Just seems like stars wants to delay as much as possible. I mean its a pretty big sum, maybe if they do this for all people with this big amounts, they can pimp up their books for a quarter or so? Idk, but there seems an active delay here.

Weird case, keep us updated praios, ty

Yea this is just scummy, mostly because this is for casino winnings. There might be some issue with money laundering, but considering you are paying out to the same account you sent the money to the site.

To summarize Pokerstars suck but nothing you can do here, just wait it out and place gambling limits on the account. They are trying to lure you back in to lose the money some other way.

Thanks for the reply. I have no idea about Austrian gambling regulation/laws but you could perhaps look for legal advice. Sorry to hear of this stressful case for you and I hope you get the money.

After Full Tilt and others I quit online poker long ago. People can easily make a computer do whatever they want, including cheating people out of money, and that much money is ripe for exploitation.

So what are you still doing here if you quitted long ago?

Praios,

Welcome to the victims club. It's alright, we all pay a mistake before we learn the hard way that anyone can take our money as long as they CAN and believe they can get away with it, which is why I stopped playing high stakes tournaments, and don't keep more than 25-30 buyins (for bankroll management) at any online poker network.

This is the price you pay for trusting these networks with a jurisdiction enforced on some island, rather than keep your money at your local bank or even better, buried somewhere in your backyard. The worst thing you can do right now is feel anger and stress, because I was there for many years. Just let it go and seek justice if that will bring peace to your soul, either soon, years from now, or at the end of your life.

Their identity is publicly available. Going through the legal process will be stressful, time consuming, and expensive. Still, I look forward for you to get the best outcome, and hope you keep us updated.

Good luck!

Praios,

EUR123,380 is a lot of money. Consult with a lawyer, get professional advice.

Ultimately, the underlying truth here is one of two options:
a) They're cheating you
b) You're cheating them

Either way, best to determine (a) or (b) through legitimate and well-documented processes.

Dude... Pokerstars and GG are getting the same reputations. I'm banned there. I think I'm not going to GG. I just can't risk this money there. If they ever commented on the winning players stuff, I don't even know if that'd help. Shitty situation, man. 123k BARF

According to Praios's YouTube channel, he was paid back most of what he was owed by Stars, except around 500€. He was banned from future play. So it's a bit of a win for him.

I suspect Stars had a team of forensic scientists working around the clock for months to try and find any reason to keep his funds, but they couldn't so they had to return the bulk of it to him.

It is bizarre to read such claims, when they appear to be wholly manufactured in your own head. You do not need to share such fantasies just because you thought them.

Calm down, sir. Might I suggest you try to develop your sense of humour?
