Hello Aydin, Thank you for your email. We are happy to inform we have a new Maltese license for Dutch players. Please note that your PokerStars account will need to be migrated to .EU before you are allowed to login to the .EU Mobile Poker application. Unfortunately, the migration process can only be done using the .COM Desktop software and cannot be done using your mobile device. We apologise for this inconvenience. Note that you can temporarily download the .COM desktop software to your desktop computer in order to resolve this issue, and once you try to login to your account using the PokerStars.COM software you will be able to move to the PokerStars.EU platform to complete the migration process. In order to download the PokerStars.COM platform, please visit one of the following links depending on your Operating System. .COM Windows version: http://77.87.180.178/PokerStarsInstall.exe .COM Mac version: http://77.87.180.182/PokerStarsInstall.pkg.zip We kindly ask that you please follow the automatic instructions provided by the PokerStars software from your computer to complete the move to PokerStars.EU, but if you experience any problems, please do let us know. More information is available here: http://www.pokerstars.eu/mobile/faq/ Once you finish the migration process, you will be ready to play on PokerStars.EU in both your computer and your mobile device! Regards, Tieme

I believe that LGA requires segregated accounts.

But that does not matter. LGA does nothing to protect players. Latest problems are Purple Lounge and Everleaf. Purple lounge closed and kept player money. LGA says that when they closed PL withdrew from being licensed so LGA will do nothing for the players. Everleaf left the US market and gave 3 options for withdrawals. Two are impossible to do and the third is impossible for most players. I contacted LGA and have not received a response.

There have been many cases in the past of LGA being useless.
Licensing organizations are virtually meaningless.

You have to trust the sites and if you think that you cannot trust Stars then I don't know what to tell you.

But then again, playing poker on stars becomes more expensive (increase in RAKE etc).
What's the current situation there? I'm thinking of relocating for the summer, but saw some threads about gambling monopoly. However, I still see a lot of Dutch players on Stars.

P.S. Oh, I see there's no problems playing ^^
