If in fact they feel they are not in violation of any US laws then they should advertise their .com site. I'm no attorney but after the UIGEA was passed I recall PS saying that according to their legal position they are not commiting any unlawful acts.
gold - It's not related at all because Stars can't control what the station will or will not air. It's not like Stars has a choice of airing anything they want just because they bought the time. They pay the TV stations but the stations still get to decide what goes on their airwaves (in other words, they can accept or reject any message from anyone at any time even if that client is willing to pay top dollar to get on the airwaves).
The sites are fine with advertising the dot-com version. It's the TV stations themselves that don't want to air them due to pressure from the UIGEA.
