Hello

I don't know if i opened this thread were i supposed to do it.I'm new at 2+2 forum.I read on the internet some cases involving PokerStars and many of them were posted here on this forum.

This is my story:

I have opened an account at PokerStars in april 2019,i sent my documents to verify my account and after they confirmed my ID I started to deposit on PokerStars.I constantly deposit around 100$ and played Bounty Builders.Ex:44$,33$ Bounty Builders.I think i played every week since i opened the account,i think i had a pause only in summer time.

In 27.january.2020 i had won the Hotter 7.50$ for 2983$.

Things were going nice,i withdraw around 2000$ without any problems.
Then in 10.february.2020 i registered to a Bounty Builder Series(tounament nr 2786907211) Buy in 55$ and i have finished it on 1st place for 14.673$.
Then i wanted to withdraw 1500$ but i got a email saying i need to sent again ID photo and proof of adress.this happened at 6 in the morning when i finished the mtt.Then the next day when i wanted to log in on my account i received the message that my aacount is frozen and please contact the email that they said.
Ok.Then i mailed them about the problem and they replied with this:

Hello Camelia,

After an initial investigation, it came to our attention that it is possible that the following accounts were accessed by other players and not by the right holders. In order to collect your answers, we ask that you explain the relationship with the accounts below:

'DonYayYY'
'Catalin86'

Please elaborate the answers. An answer such as 'are only friends or relatives' will not be enough. Please provide us with specific details such as their name or the nature of the relationship they have with you. In addition, please answer the following questions:

Were any of the accounts listed by anyone other than the right holders accessed?
Have you ever accessed or played with another Stars Account other than your account? If yes, please provide details.
Did you allow someone else to use your account? If yes, please provide details.
Do you have any other information you would like us to consider?
Our records are accurate and we ask for your cooperation to resolve this issue promptly. An explanation that is not in accordance with our data or any attempt to hide the situation will result in the permanent suspension of the account

Please reply within 48 hours. If we do not receive a response within this time frame, we will take appropriate action without your input.

I mailed them that i dont know who those accounts are, i dont have any kind of relationship with those players.

Then there were weeks without a response from them,i have send many mails and they said there are busy and i need to wait.

Then in march i received a mail from them that they will call my by phone and that i need to give them an hour when to call and a phone number.which i did because i wanted to solve this problem.
In 9 march a romania pokerstars agent called me (I'm based in ROMANIA) and we spoke at the phone for around 25 minutes,and i answered his questions about my account.
Then after 2 days i mailed them again and they said that i need to wait maximum 72 hours because the phone call conversation needs to be translated into english.OK i said.
3 weeks have passed and no mail from them.
I mailed them again a couple of emails because my patience was low.Then they said that the phone conversation was translated and sorry about the delays,but i still have to wait because im on big list of query and it takes time get to it.
I then send them more mails and no response.Then on 14 april i got this disturbing mail:

We have concluded that your account was used in breach of the following extract of our Terms of Service:

The creation of multiple accounts is prohibited on our site. The Terms of Service which you agreed to abide by when you opened your Stars Account, in particular, section 10 under 'SECURITY AND YOUR ACCOUNT', state that:

"10.1 A User may only have one User account with The Stars Group and shall only use the Service using such single account. It is prohibited for a User to open multiple accounts with The Stars Group. In the event that The Stars Group becomes aware of additional accounts opened by a User, The Stars Group may close such additional accounts without notice and may confiscate funds held in such accounts."

You will be liable for any loss that could occur. catalin86 hasn't posted since starting but not concluding that thread a year ago, but, strangely, she logged on about 24 hours ago.

I've sent her a PM referring her to your thread, in case she doesn't know you have made it.

It does seem odd that DonYayYY and Catalin86 are still playing, if they are, but maybe they are only now seeing the connections to your account from a year ago?

How can i know if Donyayyy and Catalin86 are still playing?can this be somehow verified with POKERSTARS?

I doubt if PS would give anyone that sort of information. You could try transferring 1c by p2p transfer from one of your other accounts?

Google doesn't give any current information about them, as far as I can see.

Just kidding. You would have to be guilty as charged to have another account.

(If an attempted p2p transfer is completed, obviously the relevant recipient account is still open.)

Ohh your reffering to Stars acoount player to player transfer.
PokerStars.ro dont have this service.

Another question if you can answer:Is it possible that by using a public wifi could have resulted in my frozen account?Because i also played at PS from internet cafe and public locations.

I would doubt if they ban many accounts and pass the confiscated funds on to the cheated players using only IP addresses as the basis of their suspicions of multi-accounting and fraud. They are almost bound to have a good number of things that they can check and cross-refer, so that very few innocent people are caught up in a mistaken determination that leads to a lot of hassle all round.

For obvious reasons, they will never tell us what they have checked - until an innocent person takes them to court over an erroneous confiscation.

Camy1987 or Catalin86 whatever.... stop lying. Pokerstars can see your hardware ID and of course your IP. You can say goodbye to your money! You must have opened a new account under your friend or family name after a ban.... or you are underage.
