Hi guys I have created this survey related to PS7 software since I thought it was much needed for the betterment of both players and developers. It has 11 questions in total and you can see other guys responses as well once you answer all the questions.

Good survey. Glad to see almost half of us think it uses too much cpu. When I complained on here, PSKeith dismissed it, making me think it was my pc.

(obvious why the haven't send us surveys or made a poll here themselves but will be hard to ignore this)

Obviously this is a small miniture fraction of the sites playing population, however everyone I know or speak with that plays on stars, that would never post here or email stars and plays both professionally or casually hates pokerstars 7. A couple like the colour scheme but thats it.

ps7 runs very smooth at my machine after the latest update..

I like PS7.

Not as good as FullTilt, but way better than PS6.

I know a lot of people have been complaining about PS7, and while yes, I have found a few bugs, overall I like it better than PS6.

After doing some very quick configuration to the main lobby it is easier to find the games I am looking for.

For tournaments it is a huge improvement as you can now view games across multiple disciplines and buy-in levels at once with the favourites system.

With regards to the actual game-play itself, I don't really notice any difference at all.

I updated to PS7 many months ago when it was early in the optional public upgrade stage (although quite a while after the initial beta release), mainly for the updated lobby and the favourites capabilities for tournaments.

Im also using this since last feb when they launched its alpha version, my first impression was very good, I always love new things, but when it comes to performance wise, like the time it takes to load, lobby got super duper slow, faced too many bugs right from the beginning - they were really really tilting as they affected my gameplay. Some issues like registration delay/re entering a tournament and not getting my seat back and losing my blinds because of it, and once when i got moved to final table of a turbo tournament my first hand got missed - automatic sitout without able to see my cards, and things like not able to exit software when you get disconnected, clicking 3-4 times to exit the software, client crashing - this all happened when I started using ps7 and none of this happened when I was using ps6. Also updates started taking 30-40 mins long, even moving from ps7 to ps6 or vice versa caused me to lose all the settings everytime I reverted.

Once again I absolutely love these new features like - Favorites, Quick Seat, New look, New cashier, Chip Graph, etc but as a poker player you also look for a software to be efficient and smooth running.

Though after the recent update, I have faced only 1 issue, I haven't seen any lag/crash issues yet but the time it takes to load the client is very very annoying and has not improved a bit. I don't know for others how much it takes for them to load but for me I have to wait 20-25 seconds to enter my pin and get logged in, I don't have to wait that long when I log in to FTP or 888poker or any other poker site.

36% people of those who took this survey are happy with PS7 , I was expecting worse than that. But still nice to know 20 out of 56 are happy with it.

I don't even notice a difference, maybe if your running 100 different programs it may slow you down or give your software problems n if that's the case then i think that's a good thing.

That is an abysmal satisfaction rating. You wouldn't buy or book anything that 2 out of 3 people weren't satisfied with. And any worker with that fail rate, would get sacked. It is a resounding FAIL.

I actually like PS7 and noticed no performance issues.
The layout is better with ppl who folded being grayed out during the hand.
I see nothing that PS6 did better than PS7

Or it simply highlights that we are all creatures of habit.

The only performance issues I notice are on the SNG tab of the lobby. If I return to the main lobby after finish an SNG, the lobby takes a few seconds to update. Besides that, I have not experienced any performance issues, including while playing up to 6 tables.

seems close to one of the dumbest statements ive read before. Guess with no regs thered be tons of players who could afford grinding 25/50 cash and 109 rebuys. very well thought out reply

yeah super sick and beneficial and massive change a fade out of players not in pot. What you coach?
